This was a wild ride... lots of action and some fun character moments, but I found myself wanting more from the story!! Billy the Kid? Still not sure how I feel about him! Also, the rock music soundtrack was a bold choice haha. How does this rank on your Western charts?

If you enjoy the westerns you really should check out Lonesome Dove. You would love it.

When I was in high school I got the soundtrack for this because I liked Blaze of Glory...hated everything else on the tape. (Yes, tape. CDs were fairly new at the time and I didn't have a player yet. :P )

I saw this and Young Guns 2 in the theaters. As good as this one is, I think YG2 might be a little better. Hope you react to YG 2 soon I think the Kiefer films you were talking about are: Stand By Me and A Time to Kill. But he's such a great guy in both Young Guns films. He's just a great actor.

Um, actually... Blaze of Glory was on the soundtrack to Young Guns 2. (But now that we've both mentioned "Blaze of Glory," I feel that Cassie is legally obligated to react to Young Guns 2. ... And I also had the Bon Jovi album on cassette.)

It was okay. I agree with most of what you said about this movie. You might like The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948), but it is black and white, which never bothers me if the movie is good. It got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.2/10 on IMDb. Not that the ratings really mean anything, but I always put it out there.

I always thought that Young Guns 2 was better than the original.

In case some people weren't aware, the gal that Charlie paid to hold him was his mom.
