Could you combine that 75% bonus with the 70% bonus we already have, for a 145% bonus? That way if we buy anything you actually pay us 45% of what it is worth??? Haha!

Anonymous

Real question; is it 75% instead of 70% or ist it 75% off the 70% so 92.5% total Discount :D

When you say bases aren't allowed, you mean black discs only, the bases from the pack, the pack bases plus tufts/debris or literally held up by toothpicks and paperclips?

Anonymous

Or maybe you mean we just can't enter a base without a mini on it. Do people even do that?

Anonymous

I'm a really bad painter, but I think I will participate in this month contest. The only thing I have to lose is my painting anxiety!

onepagerules

It means that you can't just enter a base without a mini on it, even if it's one of the OPR themed bases. Some people asked about it, so we decided to clarify.

Is my Patreon username just the name I see attached to this comment?

Is the Beastmen Sabertooth Titan a part of the January release or a loyalty reward?

Anonymous

I followed the Atlas link to read up on their resin and it says it comes in 1.5kg bags. Is that the reward size?

Anonymous

Can I add anything to the model and still be allowed to enter it in the contest? I was thinking of doing one of the beastmen and adding some trophies and I'd prefer to do it before it's painted.

For the non-U.S. participants it is quite important to know, that the Resin is shipped from the U.S. directly. I won a painting contest last year and was sent the resin in December, and I was charged around 35€ for customs and shipping by UPS. I declined the resin and had it sent back, because I didn't want to pay 35€ for something I won. No offense to anyone here, but I think that is fair to know before you give your adress to the guys from Atlas. ;)

I can only confirm this, even though I paid because it was still cheaper than buying another resin in my country. But the feeling is still confusing to pay for a prize I won... and the VAT in here is 27%, which can thoroughly raise the prices.

onepagerules

That's a good point, I am going to add a note at the bottom, thanks for the highlight.

This will be the first time that I actually paint something that's eligible. I keep getting almost done, check the rules and whoops that one wasn't legal. But I spent my vacation relaxing and painting a giant bird headed god titan so I still won in the end.

Can we make a diorama for an entry with the miniature as the centrepiece?

onepagerules

It depends on how intricate it is. A small thing that mainly focuses on the mini is fine, making a big diorama would be an issue.

Anonymous

Okay, I will incorporate it’s base into the dio so if it is decided to be too much I can remove it

I just received the Vulcan resin which I purchased and at no point did they mention a $25 import fee the delivery guy charged me. Won't buy from them again if this is how they conduct business.

onepagerules

I don't think that the import fee has anything to do with Atlas, but instead is based on the import laws of the country you're in.

Travis Lacombe

I wanted to provide an update to this. I received a very quick reply from the folks at Atlas and they are now aware of the situation. They also offered a credit for the unexpected fee. 5 stars for customer service!

Travis Lacombe

In my experience it is standard practice to charge import fees at point of sale or at least inform the purchaser of the required fee.

Ginfizz

I personally can't say enough good things about the Atlas resin I received. If anyone is missing theirs, their support is very quick and quite helpful.
