Update - Emi kneels... (Patreon)

tl;dr - There's lots of new Emi and Nobuko voice acting coming in the new scenes in v0.10, which should be ready soon!

This is from the new upcoming release, (v0.10) which should be out pretty soon! While my focus is and has been on Nobuko lately, to get her story done, now that Emi is 'unlocked' I can easily add more content with her, like this scene.

This is an enhanced 1440p version just for this patron update, and is only the 'night time' version, because you can do it in the day as well.

Plenty of voice acting on its way

In the next release I'm including heaps of new voice lines: there'll be 28 new lines for Emi and 19 for Nobuko. Some of these are in scenes that were already in the game and some of them for new scenes.

I don't think you'll notice it as a really impressive amount of new voice acting, mind you, because the way I put VA in is designed to be very evenly spread out over the game, but I think you'll definitely enjoy some of the new lines at least.

Part of the reason there's so much new Emi stuff is because I've been adding quite a bit of post-sex scene content, including a couple of new independent scenes, plus a bunch of new conversation topics/scenes you can unlock just by talking to her on the balcony after the sex scene with her. That includes the scene for the image above, which does indeed have voice acting. ;) Go try it when v0.10 comes out!

The new Nobuko lines are in there for pretty obvious reasons - those scenes fit with the dating and flashback scenes I've been working on for her. The plan is to have all four dating scenes and all four flashback scenes finished for v0.10, leaving only her main sex scene before she's back together with Shuji and joining the harem. ;)

Alternative voice lines

You may be aware that one of the features I've included is for you to choose what the girls call you, once you've made them a girlfriend again. The choices are "master", "daddy" or one option that the woman gets to choose herself. This is so far only functional for Emi, of course, but there's already a number of lines that work that way in the game.

I've been trying to write these scenes so they're not necessarily always just the same line just with the name swapped around. Some are, of course, if it's just something like, "Hi, Master!", but when the line is a little longer I've been writing them to be a bit more specific, changing the tone of the scene just a little bit.

I'm hoping that this makes it worth actually trying out switching what names she calls you and then doing scenes again to see how they're different - at least if you're enjoying the scenes enough to do that. Oh, and a lot of these interchangeable lines are voice acted, so that should make it even more worthwhile to see them all!

I already showed this one on Twitter and Discord, but in case you didn't see it yet here's a pic I made of Mika this week. Mostly here I just wanted to see if I could make a shot that looked convincingly like her shorts had been pulled down. I think it turned out pretty well - what do you think?

Still working on the stability bug

I've made efforts to track down the bug that some people have encountered (it seems like a relatively small minority, but I have no way of measuring that) that crashes the game upon loading the main apartment gameplay. I haven't found it yet, unfortunately, because I can't replicate the problem on my own system and it doesn't seem like any patrons I've been in contact with are having the problem yet, so it's hard for me to test for it. I've tried running the debugger while going through that part of the game, but I get no errors.

What that means is it's probably that, for some reason, if you get that bug then it's some clash between your system and the game. That's not me blaming you! I'd still like to figure out what the problem is so that it doesn't happen, of course.

Actually, if you're a patron who has seen this bug then I'd really like you to tell me so I can send you a test version to get some debug information. If you're wondering if you've seen it, what would happen is the game would go to a black loading screen and then just not load at all. If you're playing the game from the beginning the time it's most likely to happen will be shortly after you've arrived at the apartment for the first time, when Shuji's sitting on the couch, thinking about things.
