YouTube Version - Daily Yoga Flow (Patreon)
Content
Harness a Sense of Presence with Yogic Breath, Sun Salutation, Warrior, Crow, and Balasana in this Daily Yoga Flow video.
Daily Yoga Flow builds a strong connection between breath and body. We review the Yogic Breath, Pada One, and Balasana. By practicing the Yogic Breath, we empower our sense of presence. This breath begins in Balasana (Child Pose) which becomes our resting place-- if during the Sun Salutations and Warrior we need to pause and give time to process before resuming, we rest into Balasana. By the time we reach Crow Pose, you will enjoy a bit of comic relief as I demonstrate how our abilities are shaped by our practices and repetitions. My jumpback from Crow to Chaturanga is a world away from what it has been in the past and what it could be in the future. Here it is today. You will get ample time for Crow in this video and I have a feeling you'll be ready to fly into it because the vinyasa sequences work Crow prep into the movements. For example, after you exit Warrior, and before you step back to Plank or Down Dog, you'll position your knee on the back of your arm and hover. Then, from the hovering place, you'll extend the leg into the next pose.
I hope you enjoy the flow of this session. There is an extended version of this video on the $8+ Patreon Tier + a collection of 6+ Summer Yoga Videos
