What's up, homies! Last week's episode of The Bad Batch was, surprisingly, very intense. It was great to get Commander Cody back into the mix. We're excited to see what happens next as this episode promises some fun!

This might actually be my favorite Star Wars show.

Oh, certainly. They "filled" in a lot more of Tech and Cid's identities and I loved that. I think you hit it right in the head about where Cid is going.

The way this series can go from deep to fun and back keeps it interesting. I really enjoy it so far. I also like how they are giving D. Bradley Baker's voice a bit of a rest by not having all 5 (thousand) clones in every episode. He only had to do Cody and Crosshair and a background or two in Ep3 and then just the two of them in this one. Smart move on the whole production team. Plus it gives us a little more time with the team members as individuals. Tech! Tech! Tech! Tech! Tech!

This was a super fun episode. And, I really liked the time it took to focus on really just one of the team, in this case, Tech. I hope we get more individually focused episodes on the other members of the team, as well. I am really enjoying this season so far.

Where's all the Gasgano stans at? ♥️ Seriously such a fun ass episode and brought back fun memories of being a kid and playing Podracer after school.

Some will likely shout "FILLER!" about this episode, but I liked the further development of Tech's character as well as setting up Cid's eventual decision to be loyal to the Batch or sell them out (I think she breaks good, because she's clearly been bad already, and I think she low-key cares about The Batch.

Boys I think they are going to kill tech this season.. he's been teaching omega the nitty gritty specifics and has been bad ass so far.. he's training his succesor in Omega.

This season starts off nice and varied. The race in this episode was visually and storytelling-wise excellent. Obviously Filoni wants to bring individual characters like Tech more to the fore here and give them more three-dimensionality. Showing Tech as a hero here was surprising but very convincing. Episodes that focus on the dynamics of individual team members and give them more depth could be a theme of this season, in any case, very welcome and so it is not boring (always some mission of the Bad Batch would otherwise wear out). By the way, the strong "closet"-like guy (friend of Sid?, forgot his name) reminded me a lot of Kingpin/Vincent d'Onofrio. In any case, a very nice episode and well worth watching. The Reaction, too, of course.
