Of course, when you tear everyone down, in the name of a story you build them back up again. That's called the "rebirth" part of the cycle! The group I ran this game for didn't actually try to arrest Bart, so they didn't get this deal and it ultimately didn't change much, but as a GM I think it's important to try to reward risk-taking and action because it's fun, so I try to make plans for how a doomed situation can still turn out for the better and make the players happy, assuming they're willing to stick their necks out.

In fact, it's usually not risk results I have a hard time calculating for a game. It's risk-aversion. I'm occasionally surprised how much effort some players will go through to try not to roll the dice if they don't know the odds. Risk-averse players are crazy, they'll do anything.

"I bought everything at your police station..." That is so immensely absurd, and yet so absurdly coherent. Now that everyone is fired, the value dropped! Time to buy!

Nice ep. You should probably enlouden Larry in mixing though. He's very hard to hear without turning up the volume to levels where everyone else becomes quite loud.
