In the old days, I used to do a "Monday Music" thing where I'd release a new music piece every week. Usually they were mixed together using samples and spatterings of original stuff - but mostly samples because I was doing them weekly alongside other projects. The point was to build up a large library of royalty-free tracks and have them for content down the road, and the habit paid off because while they weren't all winners, I made just SO MANY of them that now I usually have something for just about any kind of video.

But I still whip together something completely original from time to time. The Radio Skyline jingle, for example, or the occasional segment. This particular track was for the same roleplaying game that featured the robot and muscle guys. Basically, I like Lisa the Painful's "War Season" song because it uses stadium drums and I think that scratches a nostalgia itch from my band days. I felt guilty about the idea of ripping the song for a one-off beer and pretzels game, however, so I made this.

While I don't think this particular track is quite as catchy as 'War Season", nobody complained. Feel free to use it for your own personal stuff if you like, guilt free! It loops, because I meant to run it continuously on roll20.net.

Sweet. I'm adding that to my coal powered cookie train folder.
