Happy Wednesday folks! I have just uploaded my reaction to S1E2 of Better Call Saul. I'm really appreciating how this show is similar but yet different from it's predecessor.

Okay I'll do more comparison this once cause it's so early in the show. You mention the camera work and you are right. Breaking Bad had a largely handheld look to give it a kinetic feel given the nature of it. BCS tends to be much more locked down with steady cams and whatnot. Another technical difference is that Breaking Bad was shot on film and BCS was shot digitally. As for some of the similarities, there are of course the creative shots but also plenty of great montages. And of course creative music choices, and this and that and I could go on and on haha.

Cameo appearance by No Doze and Gonzo. Well that didn't take long 2 episodes and Jimmy is already knee deep in the muck. FYI Tuco's gun is real it's a Taurus Raging Judge. The name fits Tuco since raging is a good description and Jimmy called him a judge. Take care

Definitely better than episode 1 in my opinion, I honestly wasn’t engaged at all in the first half of episode haha The main thing that I liked about this episode was Nacho (the guy who visisted jimmy’s office at the end) he seems to be a lot more human than most of tucos guys so I’m interested to see if they go into his character. Also, that blonde lady who gave Jimmy a look 👀 interested to see if that comes back later Pretty great episode, wasn’t bored once throughout (:
