This is the only episode in the arc called Domino Squad: Part I. Thank you so much for watching with me! As a heads up, starting with the next video, I'll be watching each individual arc at once (or sometimes more than one arc in one video). This makes the videos a bit longer, but we can watch more at once!

I knew this movie would be trouble the moment I came out of the theatre, having really enjoyed the hell out of it. It took me in a direction I did not think Star Wars would go, and then one of the guys in our group without hesitation began to unsolicitedly bemoan the film. The split in fan reactions was INSTANT. Honestly I could never for the life of me empathize with people who hate this film to such the degree they do. For those whom hate it from a standpoint of "plot holes" and "writing issues" they seem to be the same people who handwave all of those issues in the Prequels. The people who have issues with Luke and Snoke and their handling only seem to want a rehash of what came before with perfect heroes and villains. I was very excited with how everything was handled in TLJ and it actually made me excited for what was the come next... (unfortunately in my own OPINION, what came next did not do this film justice. Maybe I'm guilty of disliking TROS in the same way people dislike TLJ, but I digress.) "Real" Star Wars fans hate the Sequel Trilogy, and "Real" Star Wars fans love the sequel trilogy, there is no monolith for opinions on these movies, and I wish everyone could get the chance to watch these films unadulterated.

Looks like you commented this on the wrong post. 😂 That being said, I appreciate this comment a lot and thanks so much for sharing it.

Hey, Kaiielle! Glad you felt for the clones! The show does an incredible job individualizing them. This episode introduces Domino Squad consisting of Cut-Up, Droid-Bait, Echo, Fives, Hevy and honorary mascot, 99. Dee Bradley Baker voices all the clones. Bric, the clone trainer with the large cranium, is from a species called Siniteen. El-Less, the clone trainer with the bifurcated cranium, is from a species called Arcona. Shaak Ti, the Jedi with three striped head-tails, is from a species called Togruta who are Ahsoka's people. Tasia Valenza, who plays Shaak Ti, has an incredibly velvety voice! The variable course the visiting ARC Trooper had the two teams run was designated 'THX-1138' which is an Easter Egg reference to George Lucas' first film starring Robert Duvall! Bric may have been harsh but that is the duty of a drill instructor who is preparing his cadets to stay alive in the face of death!
