Don Allen takes a look at the PC version of Immortals of Aveum. Just like the console versions, all Unreal Engine 5 features are deployed and they're suitably taxing on hardware - the difference this time is that superior upscaling options are available and in line with its demanding recommended hardware specs, it is possible to power your way to a good experience.

Nice work, good video. Detailed, while also to the point. Liked the X-ending :P

Only missed a bit more detailed comparisons of consoles vs PC as in how the power of PC-hardware can overcome the low base-rendering resolution and large upscaling artefacts of the console versions. And thus to show how significantly this improves the visual quality of the game (a very huge leap in this case) and maybe also if the Nanite and Lumen usage was improved on PC. This would have explained better to a novice user that the game can look so much better than on console (unlike many games nowadays that have their PC-ultra settings mostly match the current-gen console visuals...) But maybe you saved that for Alex's tech video...?

Nice to see (or at least hear) Don back in the saddle, was a little worried he'd ended up in Rich's cupboard with all those envelopes from Audi with just the Crazy Frog and a low-poly Bubsy to keep him company. Nice and concise, you've got a pretty good spread of hardware for testing modern games too. Pretty easy to tell I'll be looking at 60+FPS at 1440p DLSS quality on my rig since the 4070ti sits between the 3080ti and the 4080 (and shouldn't run into a cpu limit with my 7800X3D at that resolution). DLSS3 frame gen currently looks like a fun challenge mode, it's like "can you beat Doom 2016 whilst absolutely steaming" but without the booze. Reduced input responses and ghosting visuals, that FSR2 image breakup would make it even more realistic.
