Hi everyone, I'm happy to report that the new digitalfoundry.net website is now live and should be propogating to a DNS near you very, very soon. The image above is how the new site should look to a DF Retro supporter, but the views will change according to whether you're a standard, Premium or Retro backer. To put certain parts of the functionality through their paces, we've also done a (slightly) early access release for the new Spider-Man Remastered Steam Deck video!

So, what are the core new features? First of all, there's better integration with your Patreon supporter tier, meaning at-a-glance access to your exclusive #content and early access privileges. There's the RSS feed that's been requested pretty much since we started the site, along with - a hushed awe, please - integrated Google search.

The chronological listing for videos is also present and also ties into your Patreon supporter tier, and just generally, you should find that the site is much more responsive. The prior site had an issue with a touch of lag on the download buttons, which could result in multiple downloads kicking in if you didn't wait. Everything should be a lot snappier now.

Will, with some assistance from Rich, has spent the best part of a week debugging and sprucing up the site and ReedPop's tech team have been incredibly patient with us in ensuring everything looks and works fine - but it is a new launch on an entirely new platform, so please let us know if there are any issues. The affected URL and your Patreon supporter tier would be good information to have along with a detailed description of any problems. But in the meantime, we think it's good to go: https://www.digitalfoundry.net - thanks for your patience on this one!

Hey DF team, when trying to do a search of specific videos it is blocking results without first enabling targeting cookies ..... is there a reason for cookie requirements?
