Coming This Week on Digital Foundry (Week 32, 2022) (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone, Rich here with your weekly update on all things Digital Foundry. Quite a short #content meeting this week as Alex's workstation is currently bluescreening, so he was not in attendance and obviously this week is indeed Spider-Man Remastered PC week. We'll update you on that when we can, so in the meantime:
* Oliver has delivered his M1 Ultra piece which will be going up on early access soon! After that, he'll be taking a look at the controversial Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks - sourced from a wide-range of Mario Kart titles, but how well have they been ported over to Switch?
* Tom is moving across to look at What Remains of Edith Finch, which has recently received new upgrades for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
* Will continues to look at the Intel A380 and is also taking care of 'QA' on the new digitalfoundry.net website - yes, there's a new site coming! More on that shortly.
* Rich (ie me) will be handling video duties on the Intel A380 review, but also lending a hand on Spider-Man Remastered graphics card testing and possibly Steam Deck analysis.
* John is now working at full speed on the next major DF Retro episode, covering the Klonoa series, so look out for that.
So... new website eh? Yes, it's finally happening and it is near completion. What does it do? Well, we've integrated all of the major feature requests - chronological view, RSS feed plus easy access to all content relevant to each Patreon tier. The site's a bit busier than before, a bit more packed, but ultimately, gets you to the content you're entitled to very easily. There may be some gremlins at launch later this week, so do let us know if you find any issues, but it should be a relatively straightforward switch-over. And yes, there will be a better search feature...
OK, so it's time to crack on - have a great week, and let us know if we've missed anything you think we should be taking a look at!
