Happy 2018 everyone, Rich here. Well, the truth is, we've had a bit of a bumpy start to the New Year: a mixture of illness, essential equipment renewals and necessary extended holidays have slowed us down after pushing hard - really hard - for the Xbox One X launch at the tail-end of 2017.

We need some blue skies optimism here to push through the bleak winter, so John's first project of the New Year offers exactly that. Yeah, it's safe to say that we love Sonic the Hedgehog, but Sonic Forces fell just a little bit short. Happily though, the vintage 2011 Sonic Generations on PC scales beautifully to ultra HD at 60fps on today's PC hardware and looks just brilliant on a 4K screen. On top of that, the mod support is simply astonishing.

This is a story we've been talking about internally for ages, and we're really happy with the result. Please help DF. I subscribe to watch your videos on my iMac as I do not have a 4K screen yet. The format of the HEVC files have not been an issue as you always provide mp4 as well. This video is only in HEVC. Could you release a PC/Apple compatible file format as well for HEVC?

So I hate to sound negative here, but I feel like this is the best (and only that I've seen) place to voice my concerns. I love the content that you guys produce and I love being able to support that. Having access to your content in native quality is a game changer. But guys, what is the DEAL with your download servers?? They are most of the time SOOOOO SLOOOOOW. Like, right now I'm trying to download the Dragon Ball FighterZ analysis and it's going to take over 2 hours to download a 2GB file. That's ridiculous. My internet is plenty fast. Capable of downloading 2GB in a few short minutes. Yet more often than not I'm waiting exorbitant amounts of time for DF's videos to download. SOMETIMES, they download fine. But most of the time the servers are horrible. Again, I love being able to put my money where my mouth is and support you guys and everything you do. But this situation with the slow servers is a MAJOR buzzkill. Please look into improving this situation.
