I thought it was quite stale childish and unsatisfying. To be honest I'm not a big fan of Summer Wars either. I would like to recommend the new Animated Movie by Ari Folman of Waltz with Bashir fame, "Where is Anne Frank". full disclosure I worked on that film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szho8UrNnc0

late catching up on me after darks, so glad you watched and reviewed this. Things like the train station confession, how it takes it time and holds onto a moment instead of rushing through is what I love about either Japanese movies or animation, which not seen in many western things, and what I loved with The Batman, it took it's time with a scene, which if not used to (and if over done for 3 hours) can feel slow, but allows time to feel the characters and people.
