Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed The Lincoln Lawyer series. There was something introduced in the middle of the series that I thought felt hokey, but they ended up paying it off fairly well. Definitely worth watching. On the other hand, I watched the first season of The Good Fight and cannot understand the high praise this show gets. It feels very much like an old school network tv show, but with cursing. The show constantly feels like it's pandering to middle-class white Clinton voters. And as someone who falls pretty in line with that demographic, it just makes me cringe. When the last episode of S1 has a "Bernie Bro" and a Milo wannabe who voted for Trump as a characters, I just couldn't anymore. It's like someone put #resistance twitter into an AI script generating program.

Finally saw Men last night and glad to listen. While you are always and forever my number 1 film podcast, I recommend the Pop Culture Happy Hour take on Men. They had a much more charitable reading of the film and really made me appreciate it more after the listen. After sitting with the film and hearing all of the varying opinions, I feel there in purpose in this film and am glad it exists. It is messy and not fully coherent, but I think there are a few more themes presented than you initially captured.
