How are you doing my beautiful people?
I had a rough week. I'm exhausted. I've been tired all week, but still productive!

Laid out the remaining 3 pages on Tracy's comic as well as drew page 7 and made the few corrections I had in mind on past pages. It doesn't seem much, but Page 7 took a lot out of me.

I know, I keep saying that this is probably my best work to this day. Cause it is. I try to never settle with "good enough." Which is something I was often forced to do when I was on the clock working on mainstream projects.

This is what make Patreon so great for me. Having the possibility to always push myself a little bit further when it come to my illustrations. To keep learning. This keeps it interesting, even after all these years, even when I feel that I covered all the interesting subjects; there's always this possibility to improve my work. I don't aim to be the best (my friend Akabur will always be on top). But I do always aim to be the best I can. And this is only possible thanks to you.

So thank you!

Hopefully, it will show on my future work as well and not just in this book.

That said, once it's published, Tracy has authorized me to publish my own "prestige" edition of it. A silent, black and white, high resolution, version of it, so you guys will be able to see why I'm so proud of this one without the pesky text bubbles getting in the way :P

But first, I gotta finish drawing the damn thing. Only two pages left. The layout and research are already done. The Oscar scene is finally over with, so rendering won't take so much time anymore (seriously, I was spending 4x the time on rendering than I was doing the actual linework on those two pages.), and if everything goes according to plans, I should be able to complete it this week.

That's it for now!
See you guys soon.

Ps: I was planning to keep working until I'm forced to take a break for my surgery... But I'll need to take summer vacations soon. Probably just 1 week since I honestly can't afford much more this year ( the inflation is kicking my ass ) but I feel, I'll need the break soon.
