Hello my beautiful people.

I hope you are doing well. I'm all right, all things considered. Apparently I have mild sleep apnea, which isn't exactly a surprise and wouldn't be too much of a problem... if it wasn't that I have a surgery coming on and my doctor is afraid that with all the medications, without a CPAP, I might not wake up.

So CPAP it is... but it's pricey as fuck, and I can't say that this is the kind of thing I like to put money on; Like the new bed I had plan to buy on black Friday. My Endy is so bad on my back I've been sleeping on my sofa for 2 years.

Luckily, I do have a little of money on the side and I can always take commissions to raise my income a bit. Still... Not looking forward to this.

Anyway... Enough of me complaining. :P

Had a relaxing weekend, watched that new stop motion animated movie on Netflix ( I ADORE stop motion animation ) it's a bit weirdly paced, but it was fun.

Speaking of fun, have you guys heard of Avenue 5 ? I've been following it since the beginning but I literally know of only one other person, I don't know him, and I'm drying to talk about a show that's basically: The office... on the Tinatic... in space! It's bonkers. Season 2 isn't as downright hilarious than the first was, but it's still fun as hell.

Sadly, there next to zero place for my kind of homages pictures but Billie is cute.


This Week

Only 3 pages and the cover remain on this issue. I'm REALLY happy with my own pacing on this project. And I'm aiming for the same this week.

I hope you people enjoy it. It seems to receive a bit less love than past issues, but I understand that changing the setting like that might have been jarring.

I have a 2nd script in mind that I'll need to write down before I forget it. Although I don't feel it would be right for the next chapter. It's about Rey being thorned between her two masters, and I feel it need at least an issue about her and Ahsoka before she gets in the kind of mindset.

We also need to see what's going on with Chewie, Leïa, Rose and how the hell the current issue fit into all of this :P ...

2023 will be an interesting year.

I also have sleep apnea, but instead of a CPAP, i opted for an Oral Appliance. It’s basically a mouth guard I wear every night. Little more work to get fitted, but I don’t have to plug into a wall and wrestle with a tube every night anymore. Doesn’t work for everyone, but it did for me, good luck Alx!

Wouldn't work for me. My apnea doesn't come from my throat closing ( I sleep on the side for that :P ). It's more along the lines of my longs collapsing under my weight... the surgery should help with that.

For the Wookie comic, have you considered Connix or maybe Jessika Pava? I think they'd make fine additions to Chewie's little harem. PS: The jungle comic is amazing as always!

Connix is definitely coming. I've had a plan for her for a while now. I have no idea who Jessika Pava is. The picture I found doesn't trigger anything.

Surprised that it's pricey-- any halfway decent insurance should cover a cpap. They'll usually buy the thing outright if you've been on it more than a few months, and they pay for masks/tubes/filters/etc every few months too. CPAPs are pretty common these days and I've never had any hassle getting insurance to cover it, even when I had the crappy college-kid stuff.

I presume you mean Wendell & Wild. I also watched it this weekend because I also love, love, love stop motion animation. I absolutely loved everything about Kat's character, and I thought Raul was a decent side character. None of the other characters made any impression on me at all, not even Key and Peele.

She's a Black Squadron (Poe's squadron) pilot played by Jessica Henwick (Matrix, Knives Out, Iron Fist). You barely see her (she has like a few tiny seconds during the space battles of Episode VII), but she's developed in comics.
