Join us this Friday for our 100,000-subscriber celebration extravaganza! (Patreon)

Hi there folks! You better believe we weren't going to let our 100,000 subscriber milestone come and go without an official celebration... and now that our plans are set in stone, we're ready to share them with you!

This Friday (August 19th) starting at 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm British time, get ready for an ALL DAY celebration stream + Patreon sub-a-thon featuring two GVG crew races (Jon, Ash, and Daniel racing Sonic Origins in Mirror Mode and Steve, Derrick, and Brandon racing Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion), plenty of incentives to extend each race and mess with the crew members of your choice in various dastardly ways, discussion of various topics submitted by our Producers-and-up, and -- of course -- all the good vibes as we celebrate 100K with you all in style!

We realize 6am is an incredibly early start time (for Pacific time-zoners like Ash, Daniel, and Steve in particular...), but that was the only way we could get Jon and all of you across the pond in on the fun in a way that's fair and equitable. But don't worry: even if you can't join us until later, we truly are going all day! Here's the rough schedule:

FIRST (starting at 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm British time)

Sonic Origins Mirror Mode race with Jon, Ash, and Daniel! Starting with Sonic 1 and 2, with Sonic CD, 3, and & Knuckles to be added as we hit new Patron subscriber (any tier) milestones!

THEN (after Sonic Origins is done)

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion race with Steve, Derrick, and Brandon! Disallowing recommended weapons, requiring 100% challenges, and fighting the superboss to be added as we hit new Patron subscriber (any tier) milestones!  

Whichever crew members aren't racing will be commentating, discussing topics submitted by our Producers, reading out Superchats, and interacting with our Live Audience and YouTube chats. We'll also have separate lists of incentives (all of which have to do with putting GVG crew members in various humorous and awkward situations) for existing Patrons who update their pledge (from any tier, to any tier) as well as Superchat donations!

Keep an eye out for the stream link to be posted here on Patreon (as well as in the Announcements channel of our Discord) closer to Friday. We hope you can all join us for the party -- see you then!

P.S.: This does, of course, mean there won't be a GVGCast this week. We originally planned to do this on Saturday, but that just happens to be Steve's birthday and we'd rather him spend the big day with his kids than on stream all day! The show will be back to its usual schedule next week. Thank you for understanding!
