Surprise!  I wasn't sure if I was going to post this right away or wait until I've seen more episodes.  But I decided to go ahead and post this now because I'm impatient.  
I am going to do 1 episode a week on here but so far this is the only one I've recorded.

This is a new group to me so be nice and help if I get confused!  LOL.

There is an inside joke that Chan it’s friends with the whole industry lol. Hellevator is a pre debut song. They debuted with district 9. I love the reaction so much, sending love ❤️ (sorry if I make a mistake with my english btw)

Excited for this! Stays typically have mixed feeling about this show (as in, they don't like what JYP put them through) but I often see it recommended for reactors to react to and I think reacting to this before a guide would be really helpful for you to get to know their story! I haven't finished watching yet but to answer your Girls Team question: Yeah, most of these girls are now all in ITZY. Another girl, Mashiro, is in Kep1er. And Lily, shown at the kids' solo, is now in NMIXX.

OK sorry for the additional comment, I finished watching now! Yeah this is an MNET show so there is some dirty editing (there is one scene they've talked about after the fact, where they show Chan being pissed at Han while practicing and he leaves the room--after that, in real life, he comes back in with a cake for Han because it was his birthday and he was playing a prank pretending to be mad, but they don't show the prank part on the show). And you will probably be mad at JYP at times. It's great to watch Changbin's face whenever JYP speaks though, because he always looks so angry 🤣 There are a lot of fun and cute moments though too. And yes, they were all still trainees at JYP, they just let Chan select who he wanted to debut with.

Thanks for posting this show. I wasn't sure whether to watch it or not, because I don't like JYP and I don't like the editing in these shows. But I always wanted to see their start as Stray Kids. I know them as the (former) Juniors to my beloved Got7 and start to like them since God's Menu, but never digged deeper into their past. Now I will watch it with you.

Oh a surprise! It's been a few years since I watched this so I'll rewatch it with you. So the trainee showcase isn't the monthly evaluations. The showcase is maybe held yearly? The monthly evaluations are like those videos of Jihyo and BamBam they showed near the start of the episode - just a simple video of them individually singing/dancing etc in the practice studio.

Hey Austin! I’m so glad you decided to watch this show. A lot of stays refrain from watching because of what JYPE put them through for this, but it’s great for reactors to understand their story and the importance of them being completely self-produced. One question that I wanted to answer was that this show was filmed and released weekly BEFORE their debut. They actually filmed the show as it was being released just like an actual survival show would. The show began airing in October of 2017 and ended in December. Once it was over, they had about two and a half months to prepare their debut album which released in March of 2018. So this is as raw of footage of their journey as you would expect! Can’t wait to watch more along with you <3
