Finally catching up with this show since the episodes are so long. Here’s some info you didn’t ask for about things you’ve mentioned in previous episodes. [Essay Incoming] You mentioned before that this show could have made a mix group of older idols or groups that have officially disbanded. Those shows have already happened. In 2017 there was a show called The Unit (or The Uni+) that took idols from lesser known/successful groups on the edge of disbandment and put them in a temporary group. For reference, Brave Girls were on the show because this was before “Rollin” climbed up the charts, and then, they felt like it was a last chance for success. A.C.E also competed. Taemin was a judge/mentor. The show wasn’t from MNET, so it doesn’t have their particular brand of mess, but they did have both male and female idols compete. Another non-MNET show about a temporary group was Mama The Idol. It’s about idols that left the entertainment industry when they got married/became moms. Some groups like After School (Pledis) or Wonder Girls (JYP Entertainment) had their leader leave the group first and move to another country to raise a family. The show is about forming a temporary group with moms some of whom are first generation idols. They only had one promo single, but it’s a BOP! Also, the show that you mentioned with Tiffany from SNSD forming a temporary group was The Unnies. The show was actually about a group of celebs doing things they’ve always wanted to do. Like Tiffany wanted to rent out an amusement park for a day. The group came along because actress Min Hyo Rin (she’s now married to Taeyang from Big Bang btw) actually trained as an idol before being an actress. She wanted to experience being in a girl group, but the ratings soared. The group project spanned multiple episodes, and they rebooted the show for season two with new member to form a girl group again. Okay, now that my tv knowledge has been shared…yes, the name is so dumb. It sounds like “L’s up” in English and taking an L is not good. From what I remember with shows like Produce 101 is that the group’s name is voted on from like three options. The choices are pretty much always bad. I really like JooE overall and she did a lot of hard carrying for her group’s image. Her personality got her solo commercials while the group was coming up and she also kept that energy even through member changes. I feel like she really got lost this season. She has such a presence, and you can’t really tell from just watching this show.

A letter to Taeyeon would have been amazing! Or maybe she'll get one from all the queendom puzzle members. I'm sure they would have loved to write their grandmaster a letter. :D Yeonhee from Rocket Punch was crying because she and Seoyeon have been on the same team since the beginning of Queendom puzzle. "Charismatic", "Weekend", and though she didn't perform "overwater" they spent a lot of time as Team Queendom. Jiwoo said she was thankful that Yeonhee looked after Seoeyon so well.

Oh I hope Sir Austin can react to ''Sister's Slam Dunk Season 1'' now that you mentioned it.

Kind of sad that Team Puzzle won all 5 rounds. But they did have a lot of the more popular members so I'm not surprised. For the girl who you said "I've never seen her before!" at around 2:07:48. It's funny because she's the one that caught your eye in SNAP (Pick team). That's Chaerin from Cherry Bullet. I too think she looks really pretty here as well! She does catch my attention in the Cherry Bullet music videos and it's a shame her first up/down performances didn't go as well. She's very charismatic in the the MVs I've seen. I feel like some of the people who got eliminated really suffered from lack of screen time or featured stories. For JooE, I was really worried about her during the Glow up performance since she looked like she was going to faint. (all of them looked tired actually). Thought maybe there was something going on with her since her practice performance looked really good! Being her own manager you'd think they'd highlight on that more, but MNET is really choosing who they want to feature since it's hard giving 26 people equal screentime. Really sad to see the eliminations....I'm not sure how they are going to reshuffle the teams now that it's uneven. It will be crazy if there's another elimination since the finale is in what...2 or 3 weeks???

I enjoyed watching the Unit (the Uni+) despite me not knowing many of the groups. I even forgot that Brave girls was on there too. The screen time was enough for me to get to know most of them and by the end I had a few favorites. And the series did a good job at promising to debut both male and female units. It's a fun watch and finding some interesting people though I don't know if any of them are popular or even known anymore.

Yeah, I liked the show. It’s a shame that no one really blew up in popularity because of the program though. Brave Girls climbed back up the charts after (though unrelated to the program), A.C.E. never got super big (but seems to have a devoted fan base), and NC.A was already a lesser known kind of ~indie singer and still seems to be active at about that level. Everyone else basically disbanded, got mismanaged, or faded out of public interest. Pity

Oh my god! I've been so excited for the next QP reaction and Patreon just never sent me the notification! >.< And now I won't even be free to watch for a couple of days! Hope you enjoyed the episode, can't wait to catch up with you :)

Yea I'd say A.C.E. was probably the most popular (aside from Brave Girls' rise), since the show. They were also one of the newer groups on the show. Nobody really got off the ground that I can remember other than Jun getting more roles in acting. I'm glad NC.A is still active; she's a great singer. I'd say the Mixnine contestants are more active now than the Unit contestants.

I'm sure I'm probably the last one to get caught up but I'll avoid naming names just in case....the third person to get eliminated really looked like she was holding back tears. This is the part that absolutely sucks about survival shows because I can really see how she probably needed it as an idol that's been around that bit longer that hasn't blown up and had lasting popularity.
