EARLY ACCESS // foxes (Patreon)

It’s been a while since I drew some foxes! I really enjoyed exaggerating the shapes and simplifying the details for these. In order to get this more stylized look with a focus on movement, I had to resist the urge to add detail the way I normally do and really had to force myself to keep things really simple and closer to my initial sketches. This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately in my process: trying to cut out that phase where I finalize my sketch, and going straight from those initial loose lines to a finalized version of the artwork. It allows me to keep the purity and energy of those initial lines intact. Hope you enjoy these!
