Here’s the final part of the mountain painting process! The other parts are here and here. This one is sped up to 200%, just like the last video - you can slow it down or speed it up with the gear button on the play bar!

For this part of the process, I had another painting of mine open in photoshop on the left, to keep as reference. I wanted it to have the same movement and depth as that speedpaint so I wanted to keep that one in my field of vision while I was finalizing. Most of the finalizing process was figuring out how much detail I could add, without weighing down the movement and shapes that I had established in the rough sketch. You’ll see me sometimes detailing an area, but then going back to the way it was before because the details were not making the painting better. I also try out some textured brushes. Most of them come from Viorie’s brushset, which I talk about here.
