Another interior practice speedpaint! Loved painting this one. I have a fascination with retro bathroom designs. There's something weird but beautiful about them!

have you constructed the perspective, or have you done it by feeling? It looks so loose in one way and so correct and well planned in another way.

I used a ref image that I based this on which helped a lot with the perspective! I also made a grid pattern which i placed over the tiles, that helps a lot too. but I try not to make it too 'perfect' and just use my intuition for deciding what works, i think that accounts for the looseness you see :)

As always great work. At the first look it feels everything is alright, but when you dive in it, you‘ll notice the girl is a little bit too small in the foreground, and the sink in the background is too big. But amazingly everything looks fine. 👍👍👍

This is so amazing. I love the color scheme and how tall the composition is. As I kid, I used to think there were monsters in the toilet so I was scared to go to the bathroom by myself. Retro bathrooms are thus creepy to me hahahaha. This one is beautiful though.
