Hi everyone and welcome back! We have so many requests for DC, so we decided to go ahead and watch this since it's the next installment in the DCU. We try not to be influenced by opinions when we are blind, but we heard a lot of negative reviews, so we went in with low expectations... and we did enjoy it! It wasn't great and had plot holes, but did have some fun moments. Harley Quinn and Joker were very entertaining. I was excited for Mom and Kim to see Harley Quinn for the first time too! I know her from the old animated series.

One of those so bad it’s good movies. (IMO. Don’t come for me.)

Anakin Starkiller

She did upload it Benjamin. If you quit being so rude and keep up with their posts maybe you might figured that out.

Josh B.

They uploaded Saving Private Ryan the channel doesn't revolve around you don't talk so entitled and people have been asking for them to watch this its not even that bad yet people act like there is no redeemable quality about it and they always enjoy the movies people say are crap besides we have to get through this one so we can get to Justice League, Birds of Prey, Aquaman, and Shazam so keep crying while the people who wanted them to watch this can enjoy their reaction.

now that we have this that means we can one day have them react to birds of prey which was the only and last movie i watched in the theater this year. more margot robbie as harley quinn is always a fun time.

Matthew Richson

Well, now they can finally get to the better movies, Aquaman and Shazam. Though they have to get through Justice League first...

Perfect way to watch this movie. And hey it's a bit fun to go over some of the plot holes etc.

glad yall watched it, more glad yall enjoyed it. Little surprised you did not mention Will Smith. My memory of this movie is a little vague but i do remember Will being one of the best parts of the movie. Glad Kim and Mom got introduced to Harley. They are sure to enjoy the Harley Quinn Emancipation movie

I really enjoyed this movie & Bird's of Prey was awesome.

I enjoyed this film, although it has glaring problems. This movie was edited and hacked to death, and WB actually hired a company that puts together movie trailers to edit it into its current version, which is quite evident throughout the film. But I'm glad you watched it and it was a really fun reaction!

theatrical or extended anyone knows?

The only way I'll ever rewatch this movie is if they let David Ayer release his cut like they're doing with Zack Snyder and Justice League

You know, I never watched this movie, but since you posted a reaction, it's time I gave it a shot. I know it got a lot of negative reviews. But on the other hand, there have been a lot of movies that were panned (by critics and audiences alike) that I ended up really enjoying.

Theatrical or Extended Cut?

Even though Justice League was released before Aquaman, I think they might get more enjoyment out of it if they watched Aquaman first. That way they'd have an attachment to his character going into J.L., so it would be more fun to see him teaming up with other characters. By watching "out of order" they'd be partially correcting an issue that a lot of fans talked of when Justice League came out - it felt like DC rushed releasing the "teamup" movie before properly laying the groundwork.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to watch a movie reaction of yours. I only really like watching those of movies I’ve already seen and even though this movie is the greatest, I definitely enjoyed the reaction! Looking forward to Mrs. Doubtfire. That’ll be a great reaction and of course the further Marvel show reactions 😁

It's even worse than that. Director David Ayer bashed out the script in six weeks, then shot about 230 hours of footage, trying to "find the movie" while shooting. He then edited a version known as the Ayer cut. WB then hired the trailer company to make a second cut and then screened both versions to test audiences. They didn't much like either version so two months of reshoots followed. The theatrical cut is a frankenstein of the Ayer cut, the trailer park cut and the reshoots.

I enjoyed the first half, where it’s all fun introducing all the characters. The musics great as well, I know some people might say they over musicfied it but i think that’s why it made it more entertaining. The story over however, is meh. Lol

So, I finally watched it. I ended up enjoying a lot of aspects to it, and it did get better towards the end. It was pretty evident throughout that something happened during production that reduced the story to an incoherent mess at times. I'm sure studio meddling played a part in post-production; and the script itself probably had issues from jump street. Despite this, the cinematography was great. Will Smith, Margot Robbie and even Cara Delevingne managed to rise above the problems in the story. All the positives make me think that just some changes here or there could've produced a genuinely good movie. Dawn kept saying how she tried not to go in with any expectations, but I honestly think when movies have major issues, it helps to know this in advance. That way you're not expecting much, and then you're often pleasantly surprised, rather than the other way around.

wouldn't say this is the greatest movie of all time. but i consider it a requirement for watching the harley quinn movie in the future.
