Hi everyone and welcome back! Mom has her power back on! Yay! We had to catch up on reactions over the weekend, so expect Suicide Squad then more Clone Wars after this!

SPOILER *** If you haven't seen this movie and want to watch this with us without being spoiled, skip this statement and read after if you'd like :) *** During the movie, I mention recognizing the German soldier who was freed by Tom Hanks group only to come back later to fight... but then I just thought I was mistaken so took it back and didn't hear what he said at the end. Anywho, during our review, we clear up that misunderstanding.

This was a great movie! Thank you for requesting this one!

Thank you for continuing the DCEU movies :)

Now that you’ve watched this, you should watch Band of Brothers. It’s a miniseries that was also made by Hanks and Spielberg(they were producers). It’s a great show. I believe it got the ball rolling with big budget miniseries.

Anakin Starkiller

Quite frankly the greatest war film of all time. You wanted suggestions for series well definitely Band of Brothers and The Pacific are almost neccessary after you watch this film.

k4rizz4

Unfortunately, it's filled with propaganda, like most American war films, which kinda ruins it for me.

Tserriednich

cried like a baby in this one, wow

CiviliNation

ive got three recommendations for all three of you To Kim, who is known to enjoy comedy and adventure, i give you the classic "Romancing the Stone". I have no doubt you would love this film. To Mom, this is gonna sound weird but i give you “Throw Mama From The Train” hahaha dont worry, im not trying to get rid of you….its a just little film that my own Mom loves too To Storm, you get a 2 for 1 deal First, i give you one of the greatest movies to come out of Hong Kong, the great “Infernal Affairs” Your other choice is the American remake of Infernal Affairs......”The Departed”, which is also great and an oscars winner. I would urge you to watch the Original Infernal Affairs. Great writing, great visuals, two great main actors, amazing cast etc But maybe you dont want to watch with subtitles, or maybe you would prefer your safe familiar faces like DiCaprio and Matt Damon Its your choice.......Enjoy

Armchair Wizard

I agree with all your choices. I know they'd really love Romancing the Stone and would probably love Throw Momma From The Train as well!

Last night i got to watch Django. I must say it was quiet a unique experience. I can honestly say that if not for the miracle of the internet, i would have never got to watch a film like Django with 3 white ladies lol For its uniqueness alone, Django is now in my Top 5 favorite reactions, maybe Top 3. I have never felt the need to cry watching Django, but watching it with yall, i found myself choking up a bit....its strange. It was very funny how Kim was pissed off at Samuel Jacksons character, Snowball lol. This might sound crazy to some but, I look at the relationship between Snowball and his master as a sick and demented version of the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Alfred. When you see it like that it makes much more sense to you, even the way he "talks back" to his master...how Alfred sees the Wayne family as his own family is the same how Snowball feels aout his masters family...how Alfred sometimes takes the role of "advisor" to his master....its the same...but like i said, just a crazy sick demented version.

Storm, you and i know none of these movies will ever win any polls. I sincerely hope you will make that small bit of extra effort to watch something different. Not only for the sake of experiencing different cultures and viewpoints but also hopefully to attract a more diverse fan base to your page. I sincerely hope that the only way we watch anything “black” on this channel is not only if its Marvel or Will Smith or Tarantino Thanks as always Music Films Five Heartbeats Whats Love Got to Do It, *Tina Turner Biopic* Waiting To Exhale * Notorious Straight Outta Compton Princess and Frog Creed Ice Cube Films All about the Benjamins Boyz In The Hood Friday Next Friday Barbershop Are We There Yet 21 Jump Street Harsh Reality Films Menace to Society…… Juice Richard Pryor Films- Brewsters Millions Stir Crazy See No Evil Hear No Evil Silver Streak Martin Lawrence Films Nothing to lose House Party Big Mommas House Blue Streak Black Knight Death At A Funeral Cb4 Jamie Foxx Films Any Given Sunday Ali Collateral Ray Dreamgirls Law Abiding Citizen Robin Hood White House Down Spike Lee Films Da 5 Bloods Blackkklansman Malcolm x Do the right thing Jungle Fever Denzel Washington Films Inside Man Cry Freedom Glory The Pelican Brief Crimson Tide Devil In A Blue Dress The Hurricane Training Day John Q Man On Fire Manchurian Candidate American Gangster Book Of Eli Safe House The Equalizer 1 & 2 Dave Chappelle Films Half Baked Robin Hood Men in Tights Undercover Brother Eddie Murphy Films Coming To America Boomerang Nutty Proffessor 1, 2 Life Distinguihed Gentleman 48 hrs Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2 Bowfinger I Spy Dolemite Is My Name Golden Child Comedy Films Cool Runnings Loaded Weapon Dont Be A Menace Whoopi Goldberg Films Ghost Sister Act 1 & 2 Color Purple Wesley Snipes Films White Men cant Jump New Jack City Passenger 57 Murder At 1600 U.S Marshalls Blade Tarantino Films jackie brown

Instead of trying hard to impose my personal ideological beliefs I prefer to just sit back and see what you three will watch next, and make just one or two suggestions from time to time. But wow did you surprise me with this choice. Saving Private Ryan is one of my all-time faves. Glad to see your mom is warming up to violent war movies. lol If you want another great Tom Hanks movie try The Green Mile. Or if you want another war movie with a different take try The Last Samurai.

Carlos Hurtado

The Departed would be a great movie to react to.

Rafael Benedicto

Band of Brothers is one of HBO's greatest successes. A definite must-watch if you like true stories of heroism, leadership, and sacrifice.

Nemo

Man, I don't want to traumatize you all with war movies xD. But I have to give you another A+ war movie recommendation that you simply have to see some day. "Hacksaw Ridge" Directed by Mel Gibson. It is easily the best war movie I've ever seen, and I absolutely love Saving Private Ryan. Please give it some thought.

CiviliNation

or if you want another war movie with a different...very different take, try Zulu hehe

RX2904

I saw Saving Private Ryan on opening night in a movie theatre in Germany of all places. The room was packed. When the screen went black and end credits started rolling people clapped. There was no cheering, mind you. No wooing, no smiling faces, no buzz of excitement. This was 100% respect for the fallen on both sides. I have not witnessed anything like it since.

Trevor Darnell

Great reaction as always. Another good war movie to react to is "We were Soldiers"

George Bean

Yet another great film from Spielberg, who also has Tom Hanks in the lead, as well. I saw that Goodfellas topped the last poll by 14%, so hopefully this might mean we might see a reaction of it soon. ;D

Katie Bjordahl

i would love to see a reaction to catch me if you can. a great steven spielberg movie that has a lot of style but is a lot calmer than most of his other amazing work.

Armchair Wizard

yeah im a little unclear as to when they're gonna watch it. I thought it would be next considering it won.

Such a fantastic film, and one of my favorite military films of all time. I remember seeing this in theaters in 1998, and I would say it definitely had some influence in my deciding to enlist in the Marine Corps the following year.

Anonymous

maybe you want to shorten your lists a little? like your enthusiasm is awesome but that's a bit much for them to take in lol

Anonymous

really doubt that this movie will ever get seen... but something quite like Saving Private Ryan is The Thin Red Line, but in my opinion even better... one of the best films ever made, really... would love to see you guys react to it!

Anonymous

One fun fact about Ryan telling the barn story with his brothers, Matt Damon improvised the dialogue and story, so his and Hank's laughter was genuine. An amazing scene.

Caleb Harvey

You should react to Hacksaw Ridge, it's another ww2 movie, very sad but an amazing film.

Daryl

Brilliant film, great reaction as usual and review at the end as well. So many feels, my god.

zammmerjammer

Just to clarify: The German soldier who Upham let go is the guy who shot Capt. Miller and who Upham shot at the end of the movie. But the German soldier who stabbed Mellish in the heart and then walked by Upham on the stairs was a different guy. (it is hard to tell apart all the different actors with the same build and same haircut)

James Leet

Really appreciate the reaction video. Just to clarify, Saving Private Ryan is not based on a factual story, but it is still considered a great war movie because of the realism of some of the scenes and the way it depicts relationships between soldiers. If you are interested in a true story, Band of Brothers is a fantastic HBO miniseries based on a real group of soldiers who fought from Normandy all the way until the end of the war. It has some difficult and graphic moments, but I think you would find the experience rewarding like watching Chernobyl.
