CW: Giant monster girl, object eating, big ol' tum

She was awake. How long had it been since she was last awake? She shifted. She felt heavy. She got up and many things fell off of her. Even in the dark, she could see. Sand, bones, shells, and metal were all floating down around her after her sudden rise. Small, cute things were fleeing from her. Squishy angler fish, lovable gulper eels, and huggable football fish all fled from her as she shook her limbs free of all the detritus that had gathered on them. She giggled. She should go play with them a little-

A cavernous roar made the water around her vibrate. She grimaced and put her hands to her stomach. She was starving. It was no wonder - she always overslept, so she was always ravenous after waking up. She’d need to fill her belly before she could go play with her squishy little pets.

She flexed all of her limbs, shaking off the last of the rocks and metal clinging to them. Then she pushed off the ocean floor, rocketing upwards into the dark. The water rapidly got warmer and warmer. The pressure she felt on her body quickly lessened as well, making her feel fuzzy and giddy in her head. She paused about halfway to let her body adjust before continuing her ascent. The water was getting lighter. Squishy fish friends were zooming off in various directions.

Her head breached the water’s surface. She cried out as the sun stabbed at her eyes. She always forgot just how bright it was up here. She dove back underwater and rubbed at her eyes for a while. Her stomach let out another violent rumble. Yes, belly, don’t worry; she was on her way to make sure you’re fed properly. Just wait a little longer…

Her gills flared. She spread her limbs out in the water, fanning in every direction. She scanned the ocean around her. Nothing. Last time, she tried her luck going North, so this time she’d try… East.

She swam for a few hours, going slowly to make sure she didn’t miss anything. Finally, she saw it in the distance: a human ship. Her stomach let out it’s loudest roar yet. Drool flowed out of her mouth in a stream behind her as she picked up speed towards the ship. It was breakfast time!

As she approached, she could tell the humans were startled. They started changing direction, heading away from her. It was too late, though. No human ship could escape her.

After ten minutes of chasing, she caught up to the ship. She licked her lips. At one point in time, human ships were barely a snack. Now, however, they were just as big - if not even bigger - than the whales that she used to eat. Admittedly, she still preferred the taste of whales, but she couldn’t find them as easily as she used to. Humans were much more plentiful these days, and with these big ships…

She broke the surface of the water, sending a wave of water rushing over the ship’s surface. Curiously, she didn’t see any tiyn humans on board. She looked around. There were brightly colored tiny boats speeding away from the ship, each of which was packed with humans. Eh, that was fine. Humans were just tasty little snacks that came with their ships.

She wrapped her limbs around the ship, then began to descend, dragging the hulking metal boat down with her. She squeezed and the metal crumpled. It screeched and groaned as she compressed the ship down more and more. In the end, it was only half of its original size. That size had been the same size as her, though, so half her size was still a perfectly sizable meal.

She ate messily, tearing giant hunks of metal free of the cold mass in order to gulp down whole. Her jaw didn’t let her chew, so her food went down into her belly in these hefty chunks. A friend of hers had once told her that it was funny since all those weird-shaped chunks made her belly lumpy and bumpy. She didn’t see why it was funny, but she didn’t mind it either.

She quickly filled up with the ship’s body. Her stomach stopped roaring and instead began to happily gurgle. It swelled outwards rapidly from the sheer amount of metal being crammed into it. She set three of her limbs to rubbing and caressing her precious belly, using the tops so that the suckers on the bottoms didn’t stick and leave welts.

After about half the ship, a thick, black haze began leaking from the ship into the water. It was oil! She had been disgusted by oil at first, but after tasting it a few times, it had grown on her. She’d once heard that humans enjoyed eating both squids and squid ink; she thought this was the same. She enjoyed eating both ships and the ship’s ‘ink’. She put her lips to where the oil was leaking and sucked, slurping down the black goop in just a few mouthfuls. She made sure to lap up most of the oil diffusing in the water as well. Her squishy fish friends didn’t like oil like she did, so she always made sure not to leave any leftovers.

After her mid-meal oil snack, she went back to eating. By now, some of her kind had gathered around below her. They typically did, though for vastly differing reasons each time, it seemed. When she ate whales, they did so to share her meals, collecting whatever fell from her feast. Then, when she’d started eating ships, they’d either celebrate or fearfully insist that she stopped. She didn’t particularly care no matter what they did. They may be the same ‘race’, as the humans put it, but as far as she was concerned, the others of her kind were closer to humans than to her.

These little ones weren’t here to heckle her, though. Instead, they did as they usually did when she ate whales, gathering all of the metal scraps and such that drifted down from her meal. They weren’t eating it, though. Well, it didn’t particularly matter, did it? They could do as they liked. Meanwhile, she would keep eating her tasty, filling ship…

Finally, she filled her mouth with the last balled-up chunk of ship. Her limbs went into a brief frenzy, gathering up the various large bits of debris that had fallen loose around her that hadn’t fallen yet. She gathered up just enough for one final gulp. With that, she stretched out in the water and sighed contentedly. She… was full.

She let herself float idly for a while, gently massaging her belly with half her limbs. Her stomach was normally flat and hydrodynamic, perfect for rapid ascents through the ocean’s depths. Now, though, it was humongous and round, packed to the brim with heavy metal and sour oil. Just as her friend had said, it was covered in bumps from large, pokey chunks of metal. They didn’t hurt, though. Her skin was tough and rubbery, giving her plenty of stretch to hold all her tasty food in.

Her gills flared briefly before a large gurgling filled the water around her. Immediately after, a large bubble of air pushed its way up her throat and out into the open ocean. She groaned happily as her belly felt just a little less tight.

With her belly filled, it was time for her to go take a nap. She yawned as she let herself sink down into the depths. Once she was down on the ocean floor, she would play tag with some of the cute fishies down there on her way back to her favorite sleeping spot. She wondered how long she was going to sleep for this time. It felt like she’d slept for a few months last time, but she’d had a lighter meal this time, so maybe just one month… Then she’d wake up feeling hungry again and she’d come back up to have another meal. It was a simple life - and the only life she wanted to live. For her, this kind of life where she did nothing but eat and sleep… was perfect.

It's been a while since I've done any shorts, but here's one! I had this idea rattlin' around in my head for a while but couldn't get it to fit into a full-length fic without getting tiresome, so... short time~

This one took a few liberties style-wise, but I think it turned out pretty well IfIDoSaySoMyself~. I've only tried a style similar to this once and it ended up getting converted to a SFW piece for myself and only myself. Dunno how well it'll be received, but at the very least, I like it!

I've been really wishy-washy with my writing lately and have accumulated a bunch of half-written abandoned fics. It's kinda a problem at this point since that means nothing's getting done for Patreon. I'll try and fish around for an idea that'll actually stick so y'all can get a full fic soon!
