"Leon, the people from the Lord's Manor have poured out in force, and their internal defenses are weak right now. Should we launch a direct assault?" A member of the Silver Frost Brotherhood whispered excitedly in the alley.

Leon's face darkened upon hearing this, and he waved his hand in disapproval. "Don't even think about it! Do you think the Blood Flag family's people are fools? Rega, at the very least, has left a small squad in the camp, and the Lord's Manor undoubtedly has other security forces. Besides, what do we gain from attacking the manor?"

The young man scratched his head in embarrassment. Leon gazed at the fluctuating lights within the Lord's Manor and decisively gestured, "Let's go."

"Go where?" Several of the younger members asked.

"To the prison, of course! Dean, Morris, and my clumsy partner, Jonas, are all in there, and it's the perfect time to break them out." Leon calmly led the group through the dark streets of Rolling Stone Town.

Ever since Jonas was captured for participating in "Martin's Dash," Leon had been meticulously scouting the town. This moment was his opportunity.

Before long, they arrived at the walls of the Rolling Stone Town prison. In the northeast, a tall tower stood with what appeared to be a lookout. Just as Leon was about to personally lead a team to eliminate the guards on the tower, there was suddenly a commotion near the walls. Several figures slipped out from underneath the high wall.

"Dean?" Leon uncertainly called out.

"Leon? You arrived just in time! Damn, finally, someone reliable!" In the darkness, Dean grumbled as he walked out, with a contrite Jonas behind him. The tall Morris, on the other hand, was continuously supporting Dean.

It was then that Leon noticed Dean's limp.

Before he could ask, Dean cursed, "Jonas, that idiot, I was breaking out with him, and he slipped in the tunnel I dug, breaking my leg while he remained unharmed!"

Leon's face contorted with amusement, and he managed to hold back his laughter after a while.

Now, Leon signaled for the other members to take care of them. He nervously scanned the direction of the lookout tower and suggested, "Should we quickly leave this town? The Cataclysmic Cult has brought the Underground Alliance with them, and they're a formidable force. Continuing our cooperation with them might lead to an unbalanced relationship."

Dean shook his head. "From the beginning, you shouldn't have been swayed by the Cataclysmic Cult. They have deep ties with the underground dwellers, which is not our path. Rolling Stone Town is far from simple; I still can't figure out how they captured me. That bearded captain of the guard is indeed formidable, but he couldn't have caught me. That's why I was hesitant to escape until I received your emergency signal."

Morris, standing nearby, couldn't help but interject, "Dean, aren't you being overly cautious? Maybe it was just bad luck that we slipped."

But Dean's retort came quickly. "For the next 24 hours, I don't want to hear you speak. Keep your mouth shut!"

Jonas hung his head, feeling wronged. "We're out now, but just leaving like this is impossible."

Dean explained, "Leon, give me a report on the situation outside. Let's get out of the lookout tower's range. Move!"

The group dispersed from the prison, and a while later, they found shelter in an abandoned workshop. Dean quickly tended to his broken leg and suppressed the pain with remarkable fortitude.

"So, they plan to have a major battle in the north of Rolling Stone Town?" After hearing Leon's account, Dean's eyes gradually lit up. "Then we can't just leave like this. We have to do something!"

Morris was excited. "Let's strike while the iron is hot and wipe them out!"

Leon, however, suggested cautiously, "I think we don't need to draw attention to ourselves for the Cataclysmic Cult. We're not sure about the town's internal defenses, and stirring up trouble recklessly could get us in too deep."

Dean agreed, nodding. "You're right. We have no reason or authority to launch a massacre in Rolling Stone Town. Remember our profession - we are arsonists, not murderers. Restraint is the most important virtue."

"We'll set fires, and let the Cataclysmic Cult deal with the rest. Our current problem is where to start the fire." Leon immediately drew a rough map of Rolling Stone Town on the ground.

"First, we eliminate the Mage District, Blood Flag District, and the Prison District," Dean analyzed calmly. "The Mage District may have no leader since Roran is supposedly trapped in the Starrealm, but we don't need to provoke legendary mages. The Blood Flag District is inhabited by minor nobles and knights, and our principle has always been not to harm nobles."

"The prison has many guards, and while they're not formidable, dealing with them is still a hassle." The map now only showed the Artisan District, Workshop District, Civilian District, and Farm District.

"The Civilian and Farm Districts are theoretically the best options, but the former is too far away and too close to the battlefield. The latter is basically on the battlefield's edge, and we have no reason to go there."

"The Workshop and Artisan Districts are adjacent, and the Workshop District has fewer people at night. Even if we succeed in starting a fire, it will be hard to cause chaos."

With each insightful analysis from Dean, the map gradually revealed only the Artisan District.

"Let's go there," Dean declared firmly.

The group set out again, with Jonas carrying the limping Dean towards the Artisan District.

After a short while, they arrived at the center of the Artisan District.

"This is it. This iconic building is tailor-made for us!" Dean suppressed his excitement.

The Art of Arson: The more people affected, the better the effect. The more famous the buildings burned, the better. The building before them was undoubtedly the most prominent in the Artisan District.

"Jonas, carry me. Morris and I will go inside to set the fire. Leave a few people behind for support," Dean quickly arranged.

"After setting the fire, we'll retreat from the northwest of the town. Leon, you organize the retreat route. Of course, you can also pick suitable targets along the way," Dean added.

Leon reluctantly nodded, his discontent evident.

Dean's actions indicated that he didn't want to share the glory. Leon was supposed to be the Brotherhood's most intelligent member!

Despite his frustration, Leon took a few of the younger members towards the north of the Artisan District. The remaining team followed Dean into the building.

Beneath the gentle moonlight, outside the ground floor, the sign of the "Artisan Protection Association" was clear to see.

...

North of the Oakwood Forest.

The orders of the sorcerer Edson were being executed with determination.

On the front lines, boar-headed warriors led the advance, while on the flanks, a muscular jackalman led a group to bypass the forest for a flank attack.

"They want to attack the Farm District!" Matthew exclaimed.

"I'm going!" Zeller suddenly mounted his horse. His riding skills were quite exceptional, and in no time, he ventured to the east of the forest. This was a risky move, especially with enemies approaching. A spellcaster leaving the group was an easy target.

Yet Zeller exuded confidence. He chanted a very short incantation while seated on his horse. Then, from his bag, he pulled out a rifle-like device.

"A Mage Cannon?" Matthew didn't expect Zeller to possess such advanced equipment.

Bang! Zeller lightly pulled the trigger of the Mage Cannon, and a scorching fireball shot out, covering a distance of about two hundred meters, hitting the group of jackalmans and the wasteland to the east of the Oakwood Forest. The fireball, after landing, continued to burn into a 30-meter-long wall of fire.

At the same time, Zeller's earlier incantation took effect. A sudden gale swept around him, and a muscular air elemental appeared out of thin air.

"Go!" Zeller pointed expertly. The air elemental, looking disgruntled, flew above the wall of fire and then blew a breath of air downwards.

The wall of fire extended abruptly on both sides, covering a distance of about fifty to sixty meters and reaching a height of over two meters. The path of the jackalmans was instantly blocked.

...

Seeing Zeller single-handedly thwart Edson's flanking strategy, Matthew breathed a sigh of relief. He observed the form and color of the air elemental for a preliminary assessment, guessing it was an elder air elemental. This indicated that Zeller was at least a 4th-tier spellcaster.

That relieved him somewhat. His attention returned to the front lines.

Ever since the Bone Dragon appeared, Matthew had been working diligently on his primary job - raising undead creatures. More and more bodies were being raised. The best turned into Silver Moon Zombies, while the less capable were transformed into skeleton soldiers.

These undead beings were arranged irregularly in the north of the Oakwood Forest, silently awaiting the advancing enemy forces, encouraged by the sound of horns.

With each additional undead creature summoned by Matthew, his mana slowly depleted, and his head throbbed with pain.

"At this crucial moment, I can't afford to make a mistake," Matthew thought. He took a deep breath and, from the bottom of his bag of arcane items, consecutively retrieved three items: Negative Energy Stone, Wakeful Patch, and Mana Leaf.

He held the Negative Energy Stone in his palm to reduce the negative energy consumption when summoning undead. The Wakeful Patch was applied to his forehead, providing a sensation that ranged from cool to a tingling, stimulating the recovery of his mental energy to a certain extent, but it had serious side effects and was addictive if used for an extended period.

Finally, Matthew stuffed the crumpled Mana Leaf into his mouth, chewing it carefully.

In the next moment, a powerful surge of energy burst from his mouth. His eyes teared up, and thick black smoke billowed from his nostrils.

"Cough, cough, cough!" Matthew was choking, experiencing the effects of using Mana Leaf for the first time.

However, after the momentary discomfort, he felt a slight recovery in his dwindling mana.

"Phew!" Matthew exhaled a thick plume of smoke.

He stuffed the remaining Mana Leaf into his mouth and continued tirelessly summoning undead creatures.

A few seconds later...

"Notification: You have summoned and maintained over 100 undead creatures simultaneously. During the summoning process, you've gained a new understanding of the 'Undead' domain.

You have acquired a new domain ability: 'Withering Light.'

Withering Light: You can evoke a gray light on your undead creatures. Anyone shrouded by this gray light will continuously suffer the punishment of decreasing life."
