Chapter 622: The Creator and the Creation!

Suddenly losing control of the monitors, Moni and the others felt their eager spirits plummet to rock bottom. Yet, they also realized that such cutting-edge technology wouldn't be left unprotected or unmonitored for them to tamper with freely.

Now, the Magic Empire had taken control of all monitoring systems and severed the communications, effectively confining them to this planet.

Moni immediately regretted his impulsive agreement to the terms, knowing full well that it was too late for regrets.

Elsewhere, Lynn, standing above the vast sea, had expanded his divine domain to cover every corner of the planet over two days and a night.

Of course, this was merely a superficial coverage of the divine domain over the planet, where the density of magic was exceptionally low, primarily to prevent the flow of magic into the boundless universe.

To truly saturate the planet, reaching deep into its core, would require much more magic from the Eternal Star, possibly taking as long as half a year.

After completing these initial tasks, Lynn had no intention of staying and promptly returned to the control room.

His sudden disappearance and reappearance marked Moni's memory; the Magic Empire might possess technology for miniaturizing wormholes.

"I have dispersed a source of energy capable of fostering biological evolution across the planet," Lynn declared with an authoritative tone, setting out two tasks: "First, accelerate the evolution of these creatures to bring forth legends—energy life forms, that is. Second, cultivate a robust and rapidly replicating group of powerful magical beasts…"

Lynn, never one to be a stranger, delegated these tasks directly, placing immense pressure on the Geometric Civilization's leaders, including Moni, who managed to speak under the strain.

"Governor, the restrictions on bio-modification technologies by our home world are very stringent; some of these technologies might require an application to our home world for their usage…"

Moni's words were not entirely an excuse, as not only the Geometric Civilization but many other civilizations possessing advanced bio-modification technologies faced similar restrictions.

In the cosmic expanse, instances of artificial life forms and even digital entities turning against their creators were not unheard of, so to prevent ecological tampering by expeditionary fleets, certain restrictions were typically enforced.

Lynn pondered for a moment and then agreed to allow Moni to communicate, but he insisted on secrecy regarding their research findings and would have someone monitor the communications.

Hearing this, Moni breathed a sigh of relief.

His biggest fear was being silenced after handling their affairs; the fact that they were not prevented from communicating with their home world suggested that the situation might not be as dire as he feared.

Lynn shared the modified instructions for controlling the probes with Moni and others, allowing them to commence their research, with instructions to report their findings every ten days.

"Chancellor, are you really allowing them to study magic?" Grand Wizard Igna voiced his concerns as they left the control room.

Magic was their tool for deception and deterrence against the Geometric Civilization. Allowing them to research it could expose them or lead to unforeseen discoveries, which could be problematic.

Lynn merely smiled and did not explain. His decision to involve Moni and others in the research of biological transformation was not just for their technical expertise and experience in this field.

He believed that early research into magic would solidify their reputation as a 'higher-dimensional civilization,' as this unique form of energy could potentially affect all matter and energy, and even more mysterious dimensions!

The Magic Empire might appear to be lagging, but given more time, they would undoubtedly bring out the wonders of magic.

As for the minor issue of magic leakage, it wasn't much of a concern; to some extent, the divine domain's magic was part of his being, and if they conducted secret research, the results would depend on the characteristics of the magic he chose to reveal, potentially misleading their research.

If they chose to use the same method of converting themselves into energy life forms using magic, that would be even better, as it would mean they were under his control.

But now was not the time to act; Lynn was merely setting the stage. That’s why he restricted Moni and the others from communicating with their home world; eventually, when their strength was sufficient, they might yield significant results.

After comforting Grand Wizard Igna and instructing him to keep a close eye on the Geometric Civilization people, Lynn led a group of alchemists towards the fleet docked at their station.

He had noticed during his domain expansion that the planet housed thirty interstellar warships, twenty of which were compensation prepared by the Geometric Civilization, and the remaining ten were for planetary modifications.

Considering that Moni and the others had no immediate need for them, Lynn decided to pack them all up for research.

By the standards of the Eternal Star, their previous journey had taken a full two years, and it was time to check back on the development of the Magic Kingdom.

In the magical universe, main plane

, after months of fermenting, the news of the defeat in the interdimensional war had spread, causing a huge uproar among the gods.

This war, initiated by the chief god Moragras, had involved gods of thunder, flames, calamity, the sky, order, and space as vanguards, with even the chief god personally intervening. Yet, the outcome was a devastating defeat.

All six gods who ventured to the new plane fell without exception, and even Chief God Moragras sustained severe injuries, evidenced by the natural disasters erupting on the main plane in recent months.

The God of Life and Creation, who narrowly escaped disaster, felt secretly relieved. Having witnessed the fall of the God of Lies in another realm, he realized that these so-called wizards were not so easily dealt with. He promptly found an excuse to retire, passing up the chance to earn merit. Otherwise, he would have undoubtedly perished.

Even the Great God Harliere could not escape; he doubted he would survive either.

However, his relief was perhaps premature, as the God of Life and Creation soon sensed a summons from the Pantheon of Gods.
