Chapter 243: After the Match

The scene of Sundy falling again was broadcasted live.

Experts in Nen abilities like Netero and Silva were watching the match because of Luo. When Sundy fell for the second time, they all turned off the TV.

There was no direct physical contact, yet he was able to send slabs flying through the air, which seemed to be a Manipulator's ability, and wrapping the air around the shattered stones was an Emitter's ability.

Using these two abilities together, Luo delivered a lethal blow, demonstrating his refined control over Nen.

However, what they were more interested in was the ability that extinguished the flames. When Sundy launched a close-range attack, they saw it clearly.

If Luo had been hit by the high-temperature claw attack, it would have caused irreversible damage. Even if it missed, the sparks of high temperature could still inflict continuous damage on the opponent.

Yet, the sparks were extinguished before they could even touch Luo's body, which significantly weakened Sundy's attack power, allowing Luo to kill him with a single strike.

Before losing consciousness, Sundy still couldn't understand how Luo managed to extinguish the fire and send slabs flying through the air without touching them, which seemed incredibly mysterious.

The referee knelt beside the fallen Sundy and counted down to zero. With no response from Sundy, the referee stood up and gestured a "KO," signaling Luo's victory in this match.

Without comparison, there's no harm. The veterans mingling at the Heavens Arena, on the verge of reaching the floor master's throne, were blown away by a newcomer who had just reached the 200th floor.

This eye-catching battle ended in less than two minutes.

If Luo had won this battle with great difficulty, it would have been a match worth watching. However, Luo won too easily, so much so that it made one wonder if it was a fixed match.

At the commentator's seat, the female commentator saw the referee's gesture announcing the result and excitedly shouted, "Let's congratulate Luo on his initial victory, winning his first match against the arsonist Sundy!"

The audience in the arena was of high quality, and no one booed, even those who lost their bets applauded Luo.

This is the Heavens Arena, the world's most renowned fighting arena, and it is customary to cheer for the victor after each match.

The cheers that initially greeted Sundy were now directed at Luo.

Journalists in the arena stood up from the lowest spectator seats and rushed towards the ring to interview Luo and get firsthand news. Meanwhile, they were already drafting their articles in their heads.

However, Luo ignored the group of reporters rushing over. After the referee announced his victory, he simply walked towards the exit, leaving the bewildered reporters behind.

What the hell?

Participants above the 200th floor usually come for fame and wealth, and post-match interviews are a favorite part for every competitor, allowing them to boost their reputation through the media.

Thus, the reporters were accustomed to the cooperation of victors in post-match interviews, but this dark horse just walked away without looking back.

As a result, the reporters were left embarrassed, along with everyone else at the scene, as they watched Luo leave the venue.

The event concluded much faster than anyone anticipated, and with Luo not participating in the interviews, this live broadcast ended in the shortest time in history.

From this day forward, the audience following the matches above the 200th floor of the Heavens Arena will remember Luo.

This newcomer, who had just advanced to the 200th floor, defeated the nine-time winner Sundy with a thunderous force.

Luo returned to the locker room, only to find Buhara and Sanbica Norton remaining.

"Where's Bisky?" Luo asked.

"In the middle of your match against Sundy, she ran off to collect her money," Buhara replied.

"Collect money?" Luo was initially puzzled, then realized it was about betting and sighed helplessly, then asked, "You two haven't registered yet, right?"

Buhara and Norton nodded. They had both advanced to the 200th floor today and needed to complete their registration before midnight to avoid losing their eligibility.

"Let's go register now. I'll go with you, and while we're at it, I'll apply for the second match," Luo said.

He was unharmed from his match with Sundy and hadn't used much Nen, so he was fine to fight again tomorrow.

Hearing Luo's words, Norton softly said, "I bet too."

"Hmm?" Luo looked puzzled.

"Hehe, me too!" Buhara chuckled.

"So..."

Seeing Luo's puzzled look, Buhara said, "Let's collect the money before registering."

"..." Luo.

Moments later, Luo accompanied Buhara and Norton to collect their betting winnings, but they didn't encounter Bisky. Luo called her only to find out

that after winning some money, she immediately went on a shopping spree.

Thus, Luo directly led Buhara and Norton to the 200th floor.

As they stepped out of the elevator, they were greeted by the same receptionist with slight dark circles under her eyes and long fingers painted with red nail polish.

Seeing Luo, the receptionist showed a bit more covert respect, but not too obviously.

Just like yesterday, the passage leading to the registration window was still filled with a hostile aura.

That group of contestants, always ready to greet newcomers to the 200th floor with a unique welcome, was present.

As the receptionist watched, Luo walked ahead with Buhara and Norton following behind.

The trio walked through the passage and turned left, facing the corridor filled with contestants staring fiercely.

"You guys really can't sit still, can you?"

Seeing the crowd in the corridor, Luo shook his head slightly.

"Why is it him?"

Upon seeing Luo, the group was startled and, without a word, swiftly subdued their aura and hurriedly left.

"Who are they?" Sanbica asked, puzzled.

"I don't know them."

Luo casually replied, showing no interest in these jumping jacks.

A minute later, the three reached the window. Before they could state their purpose, the receptionist inside hastily handed out a blank sheet of paper and a pen.

Luo glanced at the blank paper, puzzled, and asked, "Why is it blank?"

It wasn't blank when they came yesterday; it was a form.

The receptionist blushed, opened her mouth to reveal a small fang, and said, "Could you... sign this for me?"

"..."

Hearing this, Luo rolled his eyes and was about to sign and be done when he suddenly had a thought.

The pen tip touched the paper but did not move. After a moment, he smoothly wrote a Chinese character: Luo.

The receptionist looked at the signature, seeing a strange font she didn't recognize despite knowing many languages.

"Can I register now?" Luo politely asked.

"Oh, of course!"

The thoughtful receptionist quickly snapped out of it and hurriedly pulled out two forms.

Buhara and Norton quickly completed their registration, while Luo once again challenged anyone at any time by ticking the appropriate option.

Meanwhile, Hisoka, Machi, Nobunaga, and Uvogin were on their way to the airport.

After watching the live broadcast, they immediately set off for the Heavens Arena.

They had decided to come without informing Luo, opting to arrive secretly.

Even though the reporters couldn't interview Luo after his fight with Sundy, they still planned to report on Luo and Antomu together.
