Hey guys, its Tuesday, which means its time to let you know what I've been up to!


1. Recoded the UI and finished it for all three characters.

For the longest time the Cherub has had an unfinished UI, just because it was low on the list of things we needed to do, but this week we decided to go ahead and catch the little bugger up with the main guys. I also took the time to tune up the code that causes the menu to pop down. hopefully making it less intrusive to those who want a more cinematic experience.

2. More script stuff.

This game has a LOT of conversations and words, being a point and click game, and I was given a new script that overhauled a ton of the conversations and added new ones as well. I'm still chipping away at all this new dialog, as well as redoing cutscenes that no longer match the new script, and revamping the ones that do while im at it. AGS has a lot of engine limitations, and I'm thinking up ways to work around them to create better cutscenes overall.


My current plans are to continue chipping away at the script, as well as tuning everything up. 


In other news, I got a new job! I'm gonna be working with Fann, the sound designer for Strange Flesh, so that's pretty exciting, I can't talk about much now, but this can lead to some cool things coming up in the future!
