Hey guys, I thought I'd catch you up on some of the things I've done this week, and what's next.

1. Fully integrated the new font with all modules.

Because of how AGS works, everything from speech to hover text works on its own little script, which means all of them need to be told how to use the new font we decided on. This step wasn't hard at all, but it was tedious.

2. Added the new script for the first area, and part of the second

Our writer made a new script that both cut down on the length of cutscenes and made the plot a bit more apparent (Yeah theres more than just punk and metal environments and dudes porking :V ) Because the speech script is directly integrated into the cutscenes themselves, it can't be a simple copy-paste job.

Even a short cutscene has a lot going on under the hood. And the long ones with a lot of people moving around? Hoo boy, that is a lot of typing. And a lot of thinking outside the box.

For instance, if you need a camera sweep that doesn't involve the current player character, and you don't wanna write your own camera control script, you have to make an invisible character the focus point and have them float everywhere.

Long story short: Game design is fuckin weird, yo.

For the rest of the month, I'm going to be rigging cutscenes and adding new text to the game. Next tuesday I'll give you guys another progress report and updates for the future.

Til then!
