This character was the last one on the list for the surprise of making all nominations drawn from my first Sketch of the Month thingy. I didn't have much ideas for this, but I hope it's good enough to enjoy it's looks.

This Symbiotic Spidey gained 3 votes among 4 other characters, resulting him to step up onto the 2nd place of the competition next to FemGhost.

And tbh, I think this is the closest of being an actual sketch out of all 5. xd (... next to Valkyr I guess.)
Or maybe I'm saying this cuz it's so simple and was done around 3 hours (I was distracted by watching some stream during the making). And to tell ya what, I really love how simple this came out, the smooth, nice variety of colours happening here makes it stand out from the others. It's nice to look at it imo. (...or is it that it's a mixture of colours again that I keep using over and over again?? pff xd)

I've gathered the references for this from the actual comic (that was easily found through a google image search). There wasn't much footage to use, I've saved out 3 pictures to know his design. Including this:

- I didn't really know what to draw with him, I couldn't choose an idea that would make me say bingo, even choosing a Good random pose took it's time. I've almost gave up on this sitting pose too, thinking it's not good enough.
- Then the colouring part gave my life back again. xd I really enjoyed that part, and then I had some difficulties with the background, which luckily didn't take that long, so I managed to settle down with something.
- I was kinda going for a character-colouring like in the old cartoons where a symbiote (Venom, specifically) had 2 rimcolours at each side of them. First I went for a light orange-pinkish-purpleish colour on the right side, then a lighter blue source angled from the bottom left part of the pic. The colours have mixed out differently cuz of the colour layers under these light-layers.

I imagined Spidey here almost(?) falling asleep and got awaken all of a sudden. At least that's what I tried to tell with the little symbols around. Either he was bored or just tired.

- The very least (5th) picture in the list is the actual "Auto toned" version from Photoshop. First time I think it makes it lose it's charm, disabling all the lovely colours from the original. It adds contrast tho, but at what cost? 😔🤌 I added to the post to show how it looks with such effect.

So once again, I think this came out the closest to what I originally wanted to make, as something similar like I did in my project #96 series; Simple poses sketched fast, nothing too complicated nor getting too busy with, good for practising.
Guess as for the last one in the line, I got it right this time. xd

EDIT: After the pic debuted in the "corrected Sketch of the Month" post, I got back some comments on it:
