The story behind this lesson is very simple. I was playing around with the ukulele, and I ended up playing the lovely Gm(add9) chord you will learn in this video. Sometimes, a single chord can inspire the whole song, and this is what happened with this lovely Gm(add9) chord. Of course, one chord alone can't do much, so I will show you how to put it into practice in this lesson. Enjoy this lesson. Marco.

Thank you :-) slowly I understand kind of strategy in your songs. Love them all. But sadly wasn't able to play only one.. My skills are very low. I think with this one I will be able to play at least the first 4 lines :-) hopefully.. Is a beginner class still your plan? Really looking forward to it. Will it be here on patreon or somewhere else?

YOU are the best! You have reignited my love for the ukulele! I love your motto of keeping things simple an beautiful. You always manage to do both and I appreciate it.

Wow, I love this unusual stretched Gm (kind of) chord. Amazing what nice sound a two finger chord can make, even if it is a bit of a stretch for the pinky! Good practice for increasing flexibility!

Yes, Marco, this is a beautiful chord progression but as soon as I think of your tutorials I think of the word "beautiful". One suggestion: Perhaps you'd like to give your beautiful songs a proper name, e.g. Rici's Theme so that I will remember more easily of which beautiful song I'm talking or looking for to practice again...

Lindy

Agree! Unique naming would be helpful..... all of the "Beautifuls" are running together and hard to distinguish one title from another.

Absolutely love these type tutorials. Most like this please. Also, I’d love if you can give us tips on marking our own tunes up that are of this style. There’s so much emotion in it and I like that it uses the more uncommon cords.

Going to try this on my baritone and low g tenor. 💕

It would be great to have a class with organized lessons that progress through level of skill / difficulty. Something to follow and see how to advance as a player.

This is simply stunning! Thanks so much! Going to play in a wedding ❤️🙏

Thank you for another great ukulele lesson! I love your way to explain step by step.

It would be great to have the fingerings of both hands included into the tabs. And I would appreciate if you could do some lessons about special playing skills, as how to play the vibrato, trills, bending, sliding, tremolo and so on.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I will make sure I add the fingering. I will also try to record a video explaining different types of techniques :)

Lovely piece with a Gm chord that really challenges the stretching capacity of my short left hand fingers. Would you consider including the Guitar Pro files (locked) as you do on your Blitzguitar site? I regularly use Guitar Pro 7.5 because I find the ability to isolate and slow down a section of the music really helpful when I am practicing a new piece. Thank you Marco 👍

Thanks a lot, Glenn. Yes, I can add the GP file. I will do that throughout the weekend. Enjoy the lessons. Marco.
