What's Happening

What's the big story? While Russia made tactical gains in Avdiivka, the price was incredibly high. We have pictures, videos, and analysis. If you've been feeling the reports have been mashed potatoes with no salt and pepper, buckle up because today it's a plate of buffalo wings with extra hot sauce.

What's the second story? We have to pick just one??? There is solid intelligence (but not confirmed) that a Russian Project 22160 patrol boat struck its own mine.

  •  There are updates to the war map
  •  Fighting continued in the Kupyansk AO
  •  Russian forces continued attempts to advance on Makiivka and attacked Novojehorivka
  •  Russian forces attempted to advance on Torske, and it was a disaster – there are videos
  •  Ukrainian forces advanced further east of Klishchiivka
  •  Three brigades of the Russian 8th Combined Arms Army are attacking in the Avdiivka AO

  •  Belgium became the first country to transfer seized Russian assets to Ukraine for defense and restoration spending

Everything is horrific these days, but there were two good things. Number one is Russia could not take Avdiivka, number two is I could go for a walk with the podcast. Thanks.
