Hi everyone - two weeks without posting and my number of patrons has gone up!  I must stop posting more often!

This is just to say that, in the past 14 days I have been hard at work and the size of the Amanda CYOA has now doubled to 30,358 words, as of this afternoon.  I am running at an average of around 1000 extra words added per day, and I wish I could go faster, but a lot of the work is in designing the choices and creating the flow,  links, structure, logic etc.  It's nowhere near as simple as writing a straight story.

All of this is only possible with your support, that I am able to take 3 hours or so each day away from paid day job and commit it to creating a (hopefully) epic adventure like this.  One of the sections of the story is now completely finished and in the hands of the playtesting team (that's right, I am aim to provide you with a well finished end product).   Two other sections are about 40% each done and I have also made good progress on the finale.  I'd estimate that I need another 15,000 words again to get this completed, which means it's borderline whether I can get this out for August 31st, my target.  Are you all OK with this?  I really do feel after the work I have put in you will certainly all be getting your $4.15 worth.  And as soon as it's launched, I'll take suggestions and run a poll as to which scenes you'd like to see illustrated here on Patreon.

Thanks all for your patience, and - new patrons - welcome.  You have joined at an auspicious time, I hope!

Cheers

PS I am still open to requests and suggestions for the CYOA, if you want to send them to me by PM.

Echoing pretty much what everyone else said. Take your time, no need for a hard and fast deadline. No need to hurry on my account. As far as I am concerned, it gets done when it gets done. And I'm sure it will be great when it is completed!

I am super excited for this! If you go past your expected date, that is okay dude. Do not burn out! You are taking on a huge risk and your doubling might be due to your success and also hearing about your project. We are cheering for you!
