I've been a little coy about my situation lately, but only because I didn't want to waste anyone's time with things that might or might not happen. It's all settled now, though, so I'm afraid it's time for a not so great announcement. I'm going to be losing my job in August and I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing next. Now, this won't have an impact in the short term - I'm still employed 2.5 months, so you can expect three more updates without any problems (including one next week!). That's not to say that updates will stop afterward: I have every intention of continuing work on the game. It's just that there will be an added element of uncertainty. I really wanted to stay here another contract for the stability, but it looks like that's not to be. The process itself was pretty frustrating. I won't vent except to say that it wasted a lot of time because of the way it was done. My employers said they were happy with me and that I could stay, but due to budget cuts my job is transforming into something far worse. Even dropping my part time job, it would be more stressful and time-consuming than my current 1.5 time situation. Anyway, I have a decent amount of time to look for something else. I don't think this has to be a big problem, for me or for the game. But I wanted to mention it early just in case. Meanwhile, I've been making great progress on the sex scenes for the next section. ^-^ I don't know if I can for sure include all the new affection scenes, but it's not out of the question since most are already done. What remains are enemies, balancing, and testing - should have the game ready by next weekend barring something entirely unforeseen.

Very sorry to hear this SL. I hope you find something much better soon...Out of curiosity, would you ever consider creating games as a full time job? Would you need to earn 5k per month on this site or more? I understand that TLS is free, but there are non-sex RPGmaker games on sale on steam that must earn some money for their authors (skyborn, anything by Aldorlea...). Personally, I intend to give you more cash through Patreon than I would have if I had purchased your game through Steam so I am hopeful you can make ends meet somehow. Good luck.

Oh, I'd love to create games full time! I'm not sure exactly what I'd need, but it would not be as high as 5k/month. Over the next while I'll be job hunting, but I'll also be investigating whether this is plausible right now or just a pipe dream. Rest assured I intend to maintain the current course. Thanks for your support. ^-^

Sorry to hear about this trial, Sierra. I wish you the best of luck, as I'm sure we all do. If you don't mind the question, do you think this will affect the plan to drop your part-time job? It's good to hear it hasn't kept you off your groove, at least. I look forward to seeing what you've done in 0.9

Yeah, this makes quitting my part-time job a 100% certainty. I'll probably be moving at the end of August.

Well, my advice is probably obvious but I still feel the need to state it. I would focus on securing a new job in this two month period so you can hopefully quickly transition over after the layoff. As for the update progress, that sounds great. I just wish there were an option to transform our thief into at least a fledgling succubus soon. That would be so awesome.

I certainly hope to ensure a smooth transition one way or another. Aka's transformation won't be for a few updates yet, but it's not so far away any longer.
