Great react! At this point, I am not that mad at Mal because I honestly don't think he knows about Inara's feelings for him. She's trained as a companion so, has the ability to mask her true feelings. Plus, she laid down the law in "Out of Air" and Mal was totally oblivious to her feelings at the end of "Our Mrs. Reynolds". I really think Nandi was written as a different version of Inara... the version where she is more open with her actual feelings and more vulnerable, which is why it was so easy for Mal to sleep with her.

There is a phrase "Hooker with a heart of gold". This is my least favorite episode. Still love your reactions. I do not think Mal knew about Inara's feelings.

Mal truly is an idiot and doesn't know how Inara feels. She's not leaving because of him disrespecting her, she's leaving because she believes running from her feelings is the only thing that will save her from more pain. Mal truly didn't know about Inara cause men are idiots. It wasn't until Nandi said something to him, that he thought on it and realized the truth.

I think you could pull off a Kaylee cosplay, if you tried. You're a very sweet human being yourself. BUT, it might be more fun for you to try an Inara cosplay. Get all gussied up and dressed in flowing silks, maybe a face covering thing (word eludes me right now) (veil, got it right before I posted) like episode 11. You always talk about how you love how she dresses. Still surprised you aren't calling Jayne (He who you [apparently] can't name) as "Devil Woman " Thank you for the reaction
