Sneak Peek: Irus Lock-In (Patreon)

Hello Patrons! I hope you're having a lovely week so far 😊 I've been dealing with a bad migraine for the past few days, so it's been difficult to write without feeling like my head is about to implode. That said, I have been making decent progress with the RO scenes. I started Irus' scene yesterday but I wasn't quite happy with how it turned out so I ended up rewriting a few passages today which is a lot better.

For those interested, I was originally going to have Irus' lock-in romance only come into effect in Chapter 5, but I realised that it makes sense that if the MC spent time with him in Chapter 3 (the balcony scene), it will trigger his lock in scene in Chapter 4. Unfortunately, in order to get his lock-in scene, you'll need to choose Irus' tender moment scene in Chapter 3. The amount of coding and writing it would take to have various lock-in points for the characters is insane, so I've decided to go with one lock-in point for the ROs. Once you're locked in to a route, you won't get any flirt options with other characters, so you're stuck with the person for the rest of the game. I might add in break-up options but that will only be implemented when the entire game has been written.

You will also get to choose if you want a strictly romantic relationship, without any physical intimacy or if you want both. Physical intimacy is not a requirement for any of the relationships - there will be alternative scenes to any physical intimacy scenes where applicable. In this case, physical intimacy means any sexual intimacy - so it is not a touch-averse option (for now I haven't included any touch-averse options).

Elora and Oren's lock-in options will come later in Part 2. Anu's as well - she's a quick romance much like Irus so it won't take too long to get into a relationship with her character either. I'm hoping to finish off Irus' scene today - there's still a bit to write for him (including non-RO variation scenes) and then I'll start with Elora and Oren's scenes.
