Keyleth's Aramente: I don't believe this is a spoiler, but read at your own peril... Marisha is a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender and it unconsciously shaped Keyleth's backstory. Keyleth comes from a people called the Air Ashari. There are also Fire, Earth and Water Ashari tribes. Keyleth has been selected as the next potential leader of her tribe, but in order to become that leader, she must go on a journey to each tribe and undergo a ritual trial. Only when she completes all four trials can she return and take the mantle of leadership. We don't know if she's completed any of the trials yet in the cartoon. If it helps, think of Keyleth as the sheltered, home-schooled, preacher's kid who's going out into the world for the first time.

2023-04-14 14:17:47 As a huge Critter (Critical Role fan), I had been anticipating seeing Vox Machina in animated form ever since I backed Critical Role's Kickstarter on its first day and the insane early support made them decide to turn the original special into a full-blown show. When Legend of Vox Machina finally came out at the very beginning of this year, I almost couldn't believe how well they were able to translate "a bunch of nerdy ass voice actors who play Dungeons & Dragons" into an animated show. I have watched as many reactions to LoVM as I could find both from fans and people who had no idea what it was before watching. So when YouTube suggested your first Vox Machina video recently, I got really excited because it had been a long time since I'd seen a new reaction to the show. Little did I know that clicking on that video would lead me to a channel full of reactions to other things that I love like The Expanse, The Sandman, Arcane, Stranger Things...and pretty much everything else you've done so far. There is so much content available on YouTube that I think people can forget how all those videos get there in the first place. As someone whose day job is being a video editor/motion graphics artist, I can appreciate how much work goes into creating even simple videos and how hard it can sometimes be to keep motivated. I just wanted to say thank you for making your reaction videos and posting them for people to watch. Thank you for being genuine, excited, emotional, goofy, analytical, predictive, confused, delighted, devastated, and everything else these reactions can bring up. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself in every video that you put out. And on a slightly more personal note, thank you for brightening every day for me the past couple weeks as I did a deep dive watching a huge chunk of the videos on your channel. Happy to send a little support your way as a new YouTube subscriber and Patron. I am excited to see you experience more of the Legend of Vox Machina, The Expanse, and whatever else you end up watching in the future.

Thank you so much for this! It's a lot of work to keep everything going and intimidating to put yourself out there, but I've had zero regrets. I've met some of the most amazing people through the channel and I wouldn't give it up for the world. I'm glad you stumbled apon the channel and decide to hang out. We are all a little mad/odd/funny/emotional here. It's a safe place.
