Did anything actually happen between Rhaenyra and Daemon in the brothel apart from just kissing? I always assumed they just kissed and Daemon put a stop to anything further, even though Rhaenyra clearly wanted to go further.

2023-04-14 14:17:50 Yeah it's unclear but I always assumed that there was no actual penetration. But looking on, you could still assume that.

2023-04-14 14:17:48 I don't think you missed much here. There weren't really any new characters or lore or anything, pretty calm episode. The only thing that I have to assume everyone misses the first time around, is that the guy from the gold cloaks that Rhaenyra runs into while in the city, that was Ser Harwin Strong, the elder son of Lord Lyonel Strong. He's at this point Commander of the City Watch, the post previously held by Daemon. I think they could have given him some fancier armour, like Daemon wore as Commander in the pilot, because dressed like that, it's easy to mistake him for just a common grunt in the Watch. Other than that, just to clarify that Viserys doesn't have leprosy in the books, this is a show-only thing. Viserys is a very different character in the book. And even then, it's not even clear that it's actual leprosy, the showrunners don't seem to have done too much research here, they just said that it's something like leprosy. So if you feel like you know what happens or doesn't happen with leprosy, and it seems like Viserys' symptoms don't really fit, it doesn't matter, it's not supposed to be actual leprosy. It's just some vague, unspecified disease.
