I have to say Matt Smith's was my favorite run of Doctor Who. I love 11th, and though he may not be "my Doctor," he had my favorite storylines.

His performance as an old man when Clara comes back the second time is really just so emotional for me as well. I finished watching the reaction, but I haven't finished crying yet.

Gonna type up a meatier comment under the post for the discussion portion in the morning, but a great reaction all around. You're in a special sweet spot of the show, just off the bat from a truly iconic era with momentous celebrations of the show, and about to enter what is in my opinion the most well written and thought-provoking era. Can't wait. I still remember when you were trudging through the second season and I'm so happy you kept with the show and have been able to experience and appreciate it
