The patch that Levi gave Dieter wasn't really Ivan's the patch belonged to Petra. I think this episode showcases how letting your emotions rule in these situations can cost lives. From Mikasa almost getting killed by the Female titan to the actions of Dieter costing him the life of his other friend. Thanks for the uploads you're spoiling us.

Just smiles all throughout these discussions by the way, hyped as usual for any upcoming batches. Edit : Fuck it, might aswell repeat it for the 200th time to be extra extra safe, don't forget the short post ending scene at the end of episode 25, it's crucial to the reaction. It would really suck to miss it during the recording session.

Comes from the fact that a lot of people love Levi and want to make sure the reactor understands his actions properly. Most of said reactors also don't pick up on the details of the episodes so the viewers feel they have to explain it routinely no matter who they're watching.

You know what really drives me crazy sometimes is the fact that we as an audience can't comment on your theories/predictions because we could confirm/deny them. All we can say is that we enjoy them, even though I want to say so much more. And yes just to confirm it Levi sprained/broke his ankle during the fight.

So happy you noticed and discussed Female Titan's crying. It's such a haunting shot. My gut feeling at that point had already been "there's more to her than meets the eye" but those tears confirmed it to me. I took one look at her -- that powerful savage deadly (and deadly beautiful) goddess of a Titan -- defeated and crying (such a human thing to do), and I went "my heart, it's yours" lol. The fight with Eren was fantastic. I love that you pointed out the different ways she was disadvantaged (all the running, transforming twice, getting caught/harpooned x1000, being eaten, losing sight in one eye and use of both arms for most of the fight, etc; most reactors either don't take that all in or don't feel it's worth mentioning??), and that despite all that, she STILL put up a hell of a fight and took down Eren. She's amazing. Anyway, yes, absolutely the rest of this episode is just so grim. Loved your lengthy exploration of Levi's personality and behavior, you are on point in all aspects. Speaking of Levi, have you decided when to watch "No Regrets"? It can be watched at any time, but if you'd like to watch it in order of when it aired, then watching it between s1 and s2 is the way to go :).

I don't know if he realized it yet, but a lot of the physique and fighting style of the significant titans (The ones that aren't random) are heavily inspired by MMA/UFC fighters such as Brock Lesnar for the armored titan, Yushin Okami for Eren's titan, etc.

I don't know if you noticed but Levi doesn't really use the gear (the ropes i mean) when he fights, just gas and that's one of the reasons he is sooo fast. Also he is pretty short (163 cm i think) and that's another reason he can just go spinning that fast.

I think Oluo was the one who had interest in Petra, but all of the squad members idolized Levi. Maybe Petra's father just mistook it as that Petra was attracted to Levi. It had been a long time, I can't really remember it anymore.
