“Ugh what is it?” he asked following her down the hall until they reached a singular room. The room itself was massive but just like the rest of the house it was completely destroyed and falling apart. The only thing to note besides that was that his back wall had a door that lead directly outside. Curious he went and opened it to reveal a state-of-the-art ninja training field!

“Woah what is this!” Sasuke yelled running out to look at the equipment. He was shocked when he saw that it was all brand new and never touched before. “Is this yours?”

“No, it’s yours,” Orochimaru said, walking over to him. “I was thinking about giving this room to you which has directing access to this training area.”

“Wait how did you afford this?” Sasuke asked, wondering what kind of shady and illegal things that she was up to. “I thought that Lord Third wasn’t going to pay for expenses like this.”

“I had Danzo pull a few stings and he managed to get this for me. I have a lot of dirt on him, so he is quite easy to manipulate with Lord Third helping me.”

“This is honestly the best thing about this dump!” Sasuke said to her. “Though I still don’t understand why you choose this place?”

“Because this place called out to me,” Orochimaru said to Sasuke “Just as I felt you call out t me so did this house. It was alone ad needed a family t home. I thought that eventually, it could be for the three of us.”

“Three of us?” Sasuke said back to her confused. “What do you mean by that? Don’t tell me that you are counting the house?”

“No, it would be stupid of me to do that,” Orochimaru said to him. “The third person is someone very dear to me, but they are also someone that I terribly wronged in the past. I would eventually like to see her again make amends for what I did.”

“That seems tedious so I will just wash my hands of this,” Sasuke said to her. “Be honest though, you chose this house because it’s in the far back of the village, and since there are not that many other houses around here, didn’t you?”

“Yes, that is part of the reason, old habits do tend to be harder to get rid of,” Orochimaru said to him as the went back inside. “It gets really annoying when I have to listen to others talk about what my child has been through like it’s nothing.”

“It’s fine, Itachi will pay for what he did, that’s all that matters,” he said in a dark tone. “I don’t need to care what the rest of the village has to say.”

“No, no, no, that kind of dark and edgy attitude will not do young man,” Orochimaru said scolding Sasuke. She would not allow her child t walk down a road paid in darkness like she hard. She knew that if he did, he would regret it for the rest of his life.

“Whatever,” he said, walking around the house some more. She had hoped that she would be able to see more of his happy side like when he saw the training equipment, but that happiness only lasted for a second before disappearing again. It was going to take a while before she could win over his heart.

While Sasuke-kun was being a grumpy grump, Orochimaru wasted no time, starting to clean the house as much as she could. Using a little pheromone that she created a while back she gathered up as many garden snakes as she could and had them clean the walls and ceilings.

She might now be able to use her chakra anymore, but that didn’t stop her from being a certified genius. By the time she and the snakes were done the house looked spotless. It was a lot of work, but she did it. She was covered in sweat and dirt, but she feel better than ever knowing that she was doing this for her son.

Looking around the house she found Sasuke sleeping on the couch that she had Danzo’s men bring in while they set up the training equipment. His face was so cute right now that she could eat him right up!

Ding! Dong! Ding!”

The doorbell to the right door was actually turned on to Orochimaru’s surprise. As it went off Sasuke woke up and stared directly back at Orochimaru in confusion, questioning just how long she was watching him.

“Coming~!” Orochimaru yelled out, leaving Sasuke on the couch as she made her way to the door, where two of Lord Thirds' men were already waiting for her.

“We have come to… why are you covered in so much sweat and dirt?” one of the men asked her, which was really rude for them to ask a lady. Though being civilized she answered them truthfully.

“I was busy cleaning all day,” she said, showing the two of them the current state of the inside of the house, compared to what it was like earlier.

“That’s great and all, but don’t you remember that you have dinner with Lord Third, his son, and grandson today?” the other man asked her. “You can’t seriously expect to have dinner with them looking like that.”

“Well, I was going to take a shower, but you guys came faster than I expected. I could take a shower right now, but I would hate to keep Lord Third and his family waiting~,” she said to them seductively, showing them her cleavage as she leaned forward.

“Well, we did arrive a bit early,” the first man said to Orochimaru’s delight. “I’m sure that if you take a quick one you can still be ready on time to meet Lord Third.”

“Yeah, what kind of men would we be if we didn’t let such a fine lady such as yourself take a shower after you’ve clearly worked so hard cleaning this place,” the second man said. “Do you mind if we wait inside?”

“Of course, not~,” Orochimaru said, leading them inside. “Sasuke dear these two nice men are going to bring us to where Lord Third is for dinner tonight and while we’re gone, they’ll send in other people to finish up the place. Please go put on your dress clothes. They are in the bag I left in your room.”

“Sure,” Sasuke said, getting off the couch, and giving the two men I murderous glare as he walked to his room. He didn’t like the pervy faces that they had while they looked at Orochimaru, but she was a grown woman, she should already know what those two idiots wanted.
