The rest of the summer went by in a blink of an eye after that. Thanks to Alice’s new family she finally accepted her new self completely. There wasn’t even a need for her to return to being Jaden Yuki.

Today was the last day before Alexis and Alice went back to Duel Academy and there was a bit of an issues happening with their “happy” family.

“You can’t do this to us!” Alexis yelled at her mother, while Alice stood silently to the side in shock by what she just heard.

“Alexis dear, can’t you see that I am doing this this for your own good?” Ariana said trying to convince her daughters to listen to her.

“You say that, but you’re just trying to take away what we love! Dueling is our lives!” Alexis yelled at her.

“That silly card game won’t give you two the lives that you need to survive! I’m telling you again that I want two to drop out of that silly Duel Academy and enroll in the same all girls private school that I went to. There you can learn to be proper young ladies.”

“NO!!!” Alice yelled on top of her lungs. “I won’t do it! You can’t take my life away from me!” she yelled running out of the room.

Alice had accepted her new life a lot better that she ever thought that she would but being taken away from dueling was something that she couldn’t do. Dueling was always here for her even in her darkness days. When she lost her parents, when she was hospitalized at a young age, and even when she was turned into a girl. She wouldn’t give up dueling no matter what!

“Look at what you just did!” Alexis yelled at her mother. “You don’t understand what dueling means for her now do you? And here I thought that you were finally beginning to understand her,” Alexis said before going to follow after Alice.

“Alexis wait!” Ariana yelled, but it was already too late.

“Excuse me, but I found these in Miss Alice’s waste basket,” Mina said handing Ariana a bunch of failed letters, but there was enough information to see who was contacting.

Syrs, Bastion, Chumley, Chazz, Hassleberry, Alister, Jasmine and Mindy.

Each letter was directed to one of Alice’s friends, describing her new family and how much she loved them. There were even several paragraphs dedicated just to her mother.

Tears started to hit the letters as Ariana started to cry tears of joy and regret. Her decision to take her daughters out of Duel academy was for their best interest, but she didn’t realize that this could hurt them so much. She had to make things right.
