After that everyone went back to their own rooms while Jaden and Miss Fontaine went back to her room. Once Jaden was Finally asleep she contacted everyone from the school board about what happened. Many didn’t believe her and wanted proof. Making sure that everything was explained in the best possible way, she made sure to inform them that she would bring Jaden with her in the morning to meet with them.

The next day she brought Jaden down with her where the school board was already in the middle of discussing her claims.

“This is unacceptable!” yelled professor Crowler. “Jaden Yuki must be expelled from school!”

“Oui monsieur!” yelled Bonaparte. “He is a menace to the school! We should not allow such a reckless individual to roam around the academy.”

“Now, I understand how much you tow love our institution,” said Chancellor Sheppard. “But Jaden has done nothing to warrant expulsion. Also if the report is true then you better watch your tone. Jaden has gone through something unimaginable. It would be best if we are delicate with this.”

“I think not!” yelled Crowler. “Jaden Yuki must be responsible for his actions!”

“No she should not,” said Miss Fontaine as both she and Jaden walked into the room.

Jaden didn’t look so well as she was plagued with nightmares all night, so she barely got any sleep. Miss Fontaine said her down and went back to talk to the other teachers.

“As I explained, Jaden has done nothing wrong. All she did was challenge someone to a duel and when she lost this happened,” she said pointing back to Jaden. “It’s not her fault that she was turned into this.”

“Even though you may vouch for her, you weren’t there personally,” said Crowler.

“I might have not been there, but several other students were. Plus Chancellor, you yourself know that there have been strange events not unlike this one that has happened to students in the past. Or are you forgetting that whole mess last year when you made five of our student's targets for those so-called shadow riders?”

“I’m not saying that I don’t believe you, but the only people who have witnessed this occur were three of Jaden’s close friends,” said the Chancellor. For all, we know this could just be an elaborate prank.”

“Then explain the records of Jaden Yuki. Explain, why not even any of the teachers know about Jaden’s history, but she did. I doubt that he would go around sponsoring that his parents were deceased. Can’t you tell that she has knowledge that only Jaden Yuki can have?”

“You talk too much, Miss Fontaine,” said Bonaparte. “You expect us to believe that this young lass is that insufferable Jaden Yuki. I find everything that you say preposterous.”

“Bonaparte I do believe that she is right,” Chancellor Sheppard said back to him. “The only person in this academy besides Jaden himself who know about his family circumstances was me. I made sure to keep all information locked away. There’s no way that she could have to know if she wasn’t Jaden.”

“Preposterous!” yelled Crowler. “She could have stolen that information. For all, we know she could be some world-class thief!”

“Duel,” Jaden said quietly which grabbed everyone’s attention.

“I’m sorry, what was that?” Miss Fontaine asked.

“Duel me!” Jaden yelled as she stood up. “If you won’t believe that I’m Jaden Yuki by words alone then I’ll prove it to you in a duel! If I win you’ll have to accept the fact that I’m Jaden Yuki. If I lose then you can expel me from Duel Academy!”

“Alright, you little brat, you’re on!” Crowler yelled with a smug look across his face.
