Join Team Magma (Patreon)

Mark and his family had just moved to Littleroot town in the Hoenn region and today was his eleventh birthday. Luckily for him he was in the town of the famous Pokémon professor Birch. Mark was so excited that he left his house earlier that day after saying goodbye to his parents. Today was the start of his Pokémon journey for him to defeat the elite four.

“Professor, I’m here to get my very first Pokémon,” he said as he knocked on the door of the professors lab. The professor told him to come bright and early, but Mark wondered if he was too early. “Sorry kid, but you won’t be seeing the professor today,” said a voice from behind him, but before he could turn around and see who is was I bag was put over his head and he was knocked out. 

He woke up later on as the bag was ripped off from his head. Mark looked around and saw that he was now in a barren warehouse surrounded by men in black suits. There were others like him that were taken here as well, but he feared what would happen if he tried to talk to them so instead he decided to do the next best thing.

“Where am I?” he asked the nearest man to him. “Where you are doesn’t matter, but where you are going will.” “What are you talking about?” “Each and everyone of you have been sold out by the Pokémon professors that you trusted to help you start your Pokémon journey. They were getting fed up with giving snot nosed brats Pokémon that they didn’t deserve. If you really wanted a Pokémon you should have caught one for yourself.” 

“That’s not fair, they were supposed to help us start our adventure!” “You see you’re not wrong, the only problem is that your adventure is not the one the you originally planned. We are here to make sure that you go on the right path. Now you must choose,” he said as he pulled out two pills, one red and the other blue. 

“Team Magma and Team Aqua are actively recruiting new members and you have been chosen to join one of them. If you choose red you’ll be a member of Team Magma and if you choose blue you’ll be a member of Team Aqua.” “I won’t join either, I wants to beat the elite four and become a Pokémon master!” “Sorry kid but that isn’t in the cards for you, now be obedient like the rest and pick a pill.”

I looked over at the others that were brought here against there will like me to see that they had all changed. I was staring at exact duplicates of the famous Pokémon coordinator May! It would seem that after they took their pills they were given their uniforms and then they were taken away. 

“Isn’t it a nice treat, no matter which you choose you’ll be an exact replica of May, you should be honored. Now choose, it would seem that you are the last one left.” I looked at the pills in his hands. I didn’t want to choose either, but I didn’t have a choice. I closed my eyes and grabbed a pill at random. 

When I opened them again I found that I was holding the red pill. “Good, now swallow it.” I did as he told me to and the moment I did I felt a blazing heat go throughout my entire body. I felt as if I was being engulfed in flames. My bones cracked and my hair grew longer. Before I knew it I was no longer a boy. My body had changed into that of a girls. I felt dizzy and disoriented. My mind was trapped in a fog as they handed me my Team Magma uniform and led me into a van. 

When my mind finally cleared I was already dressed in the female grunt magma uniform. I was standing around others that all showed blank expressions across their faces. They had been turned into May as well, but unlike me they didn’t seem to be conscious. 

I looked where the others were looking to see the figures of three people. In the front was an older man with a red coat and glasses. To his right was a larger set man with an arrogant look across his face. Then on his right was a girl with lilac hair and was wearing a red hoodie with yellow horns on the top of it. She had an odd expression on her face that showed that she didn’t care, but when see looked at the older man her expression softened. 

“Attention grunts, from today onwards you are now members of the great Team Magma. I am the great Maxie and the goal of Team Magma is to expand the amount of landmass across the Earth! We will do this by any means necessary and their will be many that want to stop us.”

“Um, why do you want to mess with the Earth?” Before I realized it I had begun talking. Leader Maxie had a look of shock on his face when he heard me.” “Courtney, it would seem that this new recruit has yet to learn their place, take them away.” “Yes leader Maxie,” she said as she walked toward me.

“Come,” she said in a robotic voice as she grabbed my wrist. I tried to brake free but she was stronger than she looked. “Resist and you will be deleted.” This women scared me, so I quietly followed her. She then brought me to room and upon entering it I was meet with the sight of leader Maxie. All around the room there were posters, dolls and even a body pillow of him. Whosever room this was must have been addicted to him.

“Sit,” she said as she pushed me into a chair. Once I was seated clamps appeared around my arms and legs. “You will learn to love leader Maxie.” “Please just let me go!” “No, you need to learn.” She pulled a small remote out of her pocket and pushed the blue button. The room then went dark and a screen appeared before me. I then saw her press another button and then the screen lit up.

“You will obey leader Maxie. Team Magma is where you belong. Maxie is your number one hero. You love Maxie.” These images of Maxie and Team Magma started to appear on the screen. The video kept repeating over and over that I should be loyal to Team Magma and leader Maxie. 

“You will stay here until you learn,” she said as she left me alone in this room. For the first several hours I tried to resist, but after that I soon lost track of time. Over and over the video repeated itself. It was driving me mad. At some point I tried screaming on the top of my lungs to block out the sound. However, that only made me tired. I was never feed. I was only given water. I don’t know when I gave in but I was hungry, I wanted to eat. The video said that Maxie would be my salvation. Only he and the glory of Team Magma could save me. I think that it was three or four days later that I gave in.

“Please help me leader Maxie, I’ll be good I promise! I want to serve you and lead Team Magma to victory! Please don’t leave me here!” After several hours of yelling for Maxie to come save me, the door to the room finally opened and in came Courtney. 

“Do you understand now that Maxie is the true savior of this world?” “Yes, I do, please I wish to see leaders Maxie’s ambitions come true. Please let me witness his greatness!” “Good,” she said as my bindings were released. “Now put this on.” She threw me a red Gothic Lolita dress with the Team Magma insignia on the front of it. 

I did as she told me and I put on the dress. “From now on you will go by the codename Minnie.” “Yes, miss Courtney,” I said as I stood facing her. “Follow me.” I then followed her out of the room back to were the other grunts were located when I was brought here. When we entered the room, leader Maxie and the grunts were waiting for us.

“Let me introduce all of you grunts to your new Team Magma Admin Minnie! She was trained personally by our very own Courtney. She may be knew but she is more than capable. Now Minnie, do you have anything to say to these grunts?” I walked up beside leader Maxie and looked at the grunts. 

“All hail Team Magma! All hail leader Maxie!”

I may have wanted to be a simple Pokémon trainer before, but I now know that wasn’t my calling. I was Team Magma’s Admin Minnie and I would help leader Maxie accomplish his dream no matter what!
