Komorebi- A Japanese word meaning: The interplay between light and leaves when sunlight shines through trees. ✨

Wow. 😍

Over the course of the past few years, I have found myself taking afternoon walks in the forest just to bask in the sunlight that beams through the trees. It’s a sight of great wonder! I truly enjoy seeing each forest dance in its own light.

My body needed some komorebi after a long week of circus shenanigans and all the adulting duties. November has been so grey and gloomy lately and not the beautiful cloudy kind. With the days becoming shorter, the sunshine is cherished with ever ounce of light!

I believe that these beams of light particularly as the sun is setting reveals a very small glimpse of a world that is normally unseen. I like to think it lifts the curtain for a marvelous look into another world.

I love how the light creates an aura around my body. The feeling of being spiritually super charged!

The forest shadows become illuminated.

It’s not long until the sun fades down it’s last beam of glimmer. But it’s all I need to feel truly grateful for all this beauty I have around me.
