Even king dad knew his legitimate son was a shithead, and planned to put someone better in charge. Ironically, through his rebellion, Cassim ended up ensuring the worst candidate got the throne.

For now i am still ranking Cassim way WAY above the shithead in charge. He may be cold, callous and an asshole. But he is making sure that the children that are worst off are getting fed. Put that against last episode, where we saw an emaciated mother and her child that was so weak it couldnt move its arms... From what we saw we had no way of knowing whether that child was actually alive or whether it had starved to death.

Absolutely what Cassim is doing - in a broad scope - is noble. It's just that it becomes easy for the one fighting the oppression to eventually become an oppressor.

Oh i agree, but my big question is whether he can be much worse than what they have. I would roll those dice any day. Hell i would roll the dice with anyone wanting to take over, unless they had actively proved themselves worse than that shit. They have some of the worst oppressors currently, so it is the time to try everything you can.
