Gotta love how even Luffy, not exactly known for his common sense, realizes after his very short clash with Big Mom that he doesn't stand a chance and is fully on board with the run away and wait for cake plan. Big mom is like one of those invincible video game bosses that you can't actually beat by damaging it, you just have to hold out for a set period of time in order to win.

I do find it kind of funny how Big Mom's kids and The Straw Hats are indirectly and unintentionally cooperating on making the cake. Pudding and Chiffon are sincere in their parts, but the others are unaware of Sanji's involvement.
