Things have taken and interesting turn for Rimuru! These kids may well test his devotion to Shizu!  😄

"I'll bring you up to speed with your favorite manga. Name any title." "Cool! You have new volumes of Berserk, right?" "..." "You have new volumes of Berserk, right?"

Ok there's actually like a volume and a half of stuff from the manga they've not shown yet between what happened last episode and Rimuru going to meet the kids this episode, but looking into it thankfully it seems like they just pushed that stuff back to the start of season 2, I think they just wanted to end this season with the kids. I think you'll be sad if they skip "that" Shion moment. I'll only say that Rimuru spends time getting to know the human nation more before meeting the kids, and he has a touching moment giving Milim the weapon he'd promised to have made for her. Huh, I’m surprised, that manga you see him reading is an actual series, it’s Land of the Lustrous, and Bombom was an actual manga magazine that was discontinued in 07, Slime and Lustrous are both published by Kodansha so it makes sense they can reference their works, just surprising. Also that may suggest that he’s got an increased lifespan as well, cause this was published in 2018, meaning there’s been over 11+ years since he’s been in japan.

In the Middle Ages only the wealthy could afford glass. So this kingdom is clearly very wealthy. (Or at least has advanced glassmaking techniques that make glass cheaper). The academy looks like a modern office building. No doubt the architecture is by the Headmaster's own design. (Perhaps influenced heavily by nostalgia). As none of the other buildings in the city share the same architecture.

I laughed at the Spaceballs reference you make about Scotty beaming a little too hard. I needed a can of perri-air to calm down. That movie is just too brilliant.

2:32 Salt Bae... LOL when did this episode came out? 6:28 "--poops them out" I always though he spits them out, but now it was more of ejected from side. 11:12 Who doesn't want teleportation? Would save so much trouble from travelling! 13:49 What about One Piece? Of course the spiky haired kid is wild...
